I was impressed with Dr. Goodwin and the staff. We discussed my problems, he did some tests, told me what he expected to see when he operated, what I should expect, and then fixed my problems in surgery. After the surgery he was there to answer questions, gave some suggestions on expediting the healing process, gave me some exercises, and did a couple of follow up visits to monitor my recovery. I also liked the fact he used Treasure Valley hospital for the surgery who also did their job very well.

My shoulder is back to normal. It is like it never happened. I was off pain meds within 10 days. He is amazing. He is such a nice man, he seems to really care for you. His bedside manner is excellent. He did such a professional job. My scar is less than an inch and nearly impossible to see. I put it off for 5 years in fear of the surgery, but that was a mistake since I was feeling better within 10 days after surgery. He was just great, it was such personal care! It put a smile back on my face just to think about it again.

I saw Dr. Goodwin and his PA couple of times and determining all my physical therapy had done what it could , and having had a few different tests (MRI,exams etc) It was determined I needed surgery to fix my shoulder problem. The surgery went well and efficient. With in a few hours I was on my way home. Within a week I was working out...not using my shoulder of course. I was doing physical therapy @ Promotion PT . My strength is back- I cross-fit and play indoor soccer and am 59 years young! I would recommend this provider (and have multiple times) to anyone having a shoulder problem!
