Chad was recommended by Concrete Construction Supply (CCS) in Meridian. He came and evaluated a badly done basement floor cleaning and staining and fixed what no-one else in the area could have. He was always professional, took time to do research, even bringing experts from CCS in Meridian to consult, and showed up when he said. Chad's motto, "If you're not early, you're late." Chad fixed a complete disaster caused by another contractor and then worsened by us. He came and consulted, provided an estimate, brought in other professionals to consult, and saved our basement remodel. It was so horrible we had given up hope, and the basement was unusable. Thank you to CCS for recommending Chad to us. Chad is the guy they calls when no one else can do the work. He turned our disaster into a lovely basement floor, and made recommendations that improved the project, like applying a non-skid finish to the floor. He is an artisan when it comes to concrete staining and the result is beautiful. He also left us some extra polish for the floor, along with instructions for maintaining it. Nice. Chad says he also does regular concrete placing, staining, stamping, etc. We will have him back again to stain the other rooms in the basement, and for any other concrete work we need. Suggestions if you're thinking about staining a concrete floor inside your home: DO NOT let the contractor grind your interior floor unless they use a vacuuming grinder. Snake River Painting was our first contractor, and he covered our house with concrete and floor paint dust which is hazardous. The estimate from Disaster Kleenup to clean his mess was $3,000. DO NOT let the contractor use acetone stain indoors. It is hazardous and very flammable. We're lucky it didn't flash. DO NOT let just anyone do this work, even if they're listed on Angie's List. Try Stuart's Custom Flatwork first and save yourself a lot of grief and money.
