Description of Work: We used Special Effects Remodeling to do a complete remodel of our basement. We gutted the basement down to bare studs and concrete walls. Brad and his team of hardworking professionals updated the electrical and plumbing, did some framing, added an egress window, sheetrock/mud/texture, custom tile shower & vanity backsplash, tile floors in bathroom & laundry room, installed light fixtures, new windows & doors, and he took care of all the permits & inspections. We are happy and impressed with how the remodel turned out. Brad was very good at communicating their status on the project and keeping us updated as things progressed. Brad has been great to work with throughout this entire basement remodel and we plan on using him again for future house projects. (Hopefully soon to update our kitchen!)

 + 6 moreThis job consisted of finishing 1250 sq ft, including extending a wall, installing several doors, finishing bedroom closet, install baseboards and all finished carpentry, installing flooring tile and carpeting, building bookcases and shelving, repairing ceiling, painting complete interior, and install all hardware. The job took approximately 2 weeks to complete and I couldn't be happier with the finished work.
Description of Work: This company is the real deal - the owner Brad Emery looks young but he is an experienced professional that keeps his word. His work is of the highest quality. They listened and understood my needs, provided a detailed and accurate estimate, showed up on the date we established and commenced work. I especially was pleased with their approach to doing a job - they work a single job at a time. They show up in the morning with the appropriate material and work the job all day. They keep the job clean and neat.
