+ -1 moreThe work was very good; Kevin is a true professional. He even put up with my husband tagging along after him and asking questions about what he was doing. The new fixtures and switches are lovely, and it feels good to have new, safer wiring in the house.
Description of Work: We live in a very old (110+ years) house with quite a bit of knob-and-tube wiring. We renovated our living/dining room, and had Kevin replace the wiring as well as update the outlets and switches. He also added/updated light fixtures, and replaced the switch box in the basement.

Description of Work: I used Retro Electric for a pretty complex greenhouse job. They wired the HVAC for my greenhouse and they upgraded my service panel and did a line extension from my house to the greenhouse.

+ -1 moreThis contractor was very flexible and helpful by telling me what to do to prepare the work site to minimize his time working. My goal was to save money by making sure he was doing the high value-add labor and I was doing grunt work. My career is in the electrical industry, so I was able do enough checking to feel comfortable with a time and material agreement for his work. He worked at a good pace was very professional. The City of Boise inspector approved the work as complete and up to code.
Description of Work: The contractor installed a 200 amp Meter Base, a 200 amp Main Breaker panel in the garage, and a 125 amp sub-panel in the basement. The entire system was properly grounded to conform to code.
