Remedy Residential

Remedy Residential is awesome! My house was in desperate need of an upgrade and Remedy accomplished that and more! I only had a vague idea of what I wanted to do and Eric was able to build off that and within the first meeting had concrete ideas and an overall vision! I had so many questions and Eric took the time, several times, to answer them all! I have an older home and so there were many unexpected challenges found along the way. Eric was able to use his experience and vast knowledge to find a solution. Scott and his team were friendly and very respectful, they even cleaned up everyday! I was so happy with how they handled my remodel I had them back to re-do the back deck and they built an amazing screened-in porch! Whatever your project, you can be confident that Remedy has the solution!

I would recommend Remedy Residential to anyone and everyone. We are absolutely thrilled with the remodel Eric did for us as well as with how great it was to work with him. His skill set is immense along with his knowledge about old homes and new. In our case, our house in North Boise was built lathe and plaster in the 1930s. He knew exactly how to handle it and everything that comes along with working on it. He maintains good communication, has great recommendations and in general is an all around great guy. We appreciate all the work he did, all the sub contractors that he managed and for how well he kept everyone accountable. I will undoubtedly reach out to him again for our next project.

I contracted Eric to restore my dining room walls, ceiling and floors after ice-**** damage. At first, everything went well, and Eric was very responsive. Because we had to wait for the hardwood flooring to arrive, the job dragged on for weeks--actually for a few months, and as time went on, it was clear that my job was a "filler." Eric's team worked on the project when they had time. The guys who showed up were all very nice, but from what I could tell, they lacked the skills and/or attention to detail that I believed was warranted. (The painting lines along the ceiling line is very jagged and inconsistent. There are areas along the wall where the painting was incomplete. The hardwood planks are installed such that unstained sides show, and the wall retexturing does not match the existing.) I sent many emails to Eric, after nearly every time one of his team members worked on the project, explaining my concerns, as well as my uncertainty about the quality of work I should/could expect from him and his team. He always sent someone to address the issue, but they always left without fixing the problem/s. Needless to say, the back and forth was frustrating, and toward the end, I became resolved that I wasn't going to get the level of workmanship I had hoped for. I requested that Eric come to my home and meet with me. Maybe I was being too fastidious, and if so I wanted him to review the inconsistencies with me and let me know if he thought I should/could expect a fix. Eric refused to come meet me. In an email, he said he "had no intention" of coming. He was too busy elsewhere, but he'd send his "No. 1 guy." That guy showed up, and he too was very nice, he did not adequately address my concerns. At that point, I gave up and just agreed to send the final payment. I'm left very disappointed that he chose not to meet with me to review my concerns. Furthermore, besides being unsuccessful at completing the job satisfactorily, the "No. 1 guy" left a terrible mess from the spray-on texturing application he used to "fix" the job. And given that it took them a lot of tries to match both the color and type of paint, they ended up with about a dozen gallon cans, all of which they left in my garage, along with extra insulation that I then had to dispose of. The photos include examples of what was done in 2012 and what was done recently by Remedy Residential.

Eric and his team were punctual and very professional. Their quality of work was very good, and if we had any questions or concerns, they worked with us until it was done right. Eric was very available via phone and in person throughout the project, and took the time to make sure we were comfortable with the decisions as we moved forward. We will definitely work with Eric and his team again in the future.

Once I had the permits Eric and his crew worked about 10 hours a day to complete the project. Now that the project is complete it looks like the Bumpout was an original part of the home. The crew was polite, cleaned up each day and minimized any inconvenience to us. I would highly recommend Eric & Remedy Residential to all.

Eric and his team were amazing. He was patient with us, gave us top notch attention, and made sure to walk us through the process step by step. Not only did he do a great job, but his crew was fast and super responsive. I think we called 5 other contractors and Eric returned our call the same day and did everything he had said he would do. I would highly recommend Remedy Residential and we will be using them again in the future! Thanks again Eric for stellar service!

Excellent! As new reisidents to Bend we were having a good deal of difficulty finding a skilled person to take care of projects in our new home. I contacted Eric, not only did he promptly return my call, he made he and his crew available in a timely manner. He stayed in touch, the quality of he and ha crews work was excellent. I highly recommend Remedy Residential and we will definitely us them again!

Eric was an extremely professional gentleman. My wife and I, had Eric install a cooktop and downdraft that was very involved, including cutting granite. He is very detailed and a perfectionist which is really hard to find. Eric was very aware of his surroundings and he put the health of my family first by being extremely careful and sheeting everything before cutting the granite. He always kept a positive attitude and made you feel at ease during the entire difficult, in depth process that our kitchen posed. He has great communication skills and I highly recommend him for any and every job you may have!! I know my wife and I will see a lot more of Eric as he has earned our business for as long we are here in Bend!

Eric is a great person and was very receptive to working with us. Unfortunately, by the time we got things in alignment on our end (which took 60 days), he had conflicts and could not do our project. Though we have not seen his actual work, his personality and ideas were extremely helpful. I would give Remedy Residential a look at our next remodel project

Eric was the consummate professional. Fast turn around on the estimate, worked with our scheduling, and performed fast, clean work. He is a delight to work with. He came back a second day to make some adjustments because he is a perfectionist.

Eric was fabulous to work with. He was fair, worked with me and my ideas and the quality was top notch. The work was completed on time and above my expectations. He was a pleasure to work with and I've already hired him again for another project.

Arrived promptly to give the estimate and arrived on appointed day to perform the work. Windows replaced and cleanup completed to my complete satisfaction. Would definitely use again.

Eric provided some valuable insight and advise about our project. We would have used him for our project, but had also contacted another contractor who would be available at an earlier date.

Very happy with the work done, wouldn't have wanted to do the work myself. Now have my window and well installed to building code, and ready to move forward with my other projects.

The guy was incredible. He did just an awesome job. We have a disabled son who is 25 and wants to live on his own but needs some help. At another home that we own where some of his best buddies live, we turned half the basement and made it into a full service apartment so he has his own kitchen, own bathroom, own bedroom and everything. It turned out awesome. He's happy, we're happy, I feel if something happens to me, when I die, I wouldn't worry about him, that he has a safe place to live. Eric, the owner of Remedy was incredible. I would give him better than an A. He was just awesome! We will use him again in the future. He is one of the sweetest guys next to my son.

We ran into several complications, like you sometimes do with an old house and old plumbing, outdated electrical. Eric was always positive throughout any hiccup, returned phone calls quickly, showed up and worked hard. He was patient with me, a mechanical moron, and explained things as often as needed. He also did some extras without asking and without charging...like before the toilet was replaced, the old one had some problems....he fixed them. At the end, we had forgotten to include one ceiling fixture and the electric work involved...he simply did it without increasing the price. I also felt that Eric cared about the quality of his own work- he wanted us to be pleased with how things looked. Eric did most of the work himself, so handyman seems a little light for his accomplishments. Plumbing, electrical, carpentry...he did it all. He actually was fun to deal with, had some great ideas, and clearly he took pride in the work he did. Not only would I use him again in a heartbeat, i already have plans to do so.
