Went great! We are very happy with the results.
Description of Work: Pave Hawk was hired to do an addition to an existing cement patio with sitting wall and cap. The patio was sramped concrete and colored. They have accomplished the desired outcome.

Their bid came in $5000 more than the next highest bid that I received. When Terry reached out to ask what I thought about their bid, I asked him about this & he admitted in a text message that he intentionally overbid the project because he was busy & "didn't have the white space" for the job I was requesting. He offered to lower the bid, but only after I questioned the ridiculously high price he quoted originally. I got no response from Terry when I told him that all he had to do was tell me he was busy & didn't have the time for my job. There are plenty of other contractors that want the business. I'm wholly unimpressed with this type of business practice & I would never hire or recommend Pave Hawk to anyone else.
Description of Work: I was looking to have the driveway at my home replaced - the old concrete needs to be removed & new concrete needs to be poured.

[Member Name Removed], apologies you had a bad experience with the crew that bid out your project. As 100% owner of the company, I was following up with customers that received bids while I was on an Active Duty Air Force tour for 3 months. On the bid you received, my co-owner at the time (no longer with our company) directed a crew leader to bid it out higher than normal due to a possible start at a 45-unit apartment complex. It is not uncommon for our bids to be slightly higher than most of our competitors, this is due to our track record with subdivision, complex home owner and commercial construction jobs. It is always possible to find someone cheaper if you look hard enough. We are new to Angi Ads and our primary source of homeowner reviews comes from HomeAdvisor. To anyone reading this please also see our reviews at: https://www.homeadvisor.com/rated.pavehawkconstruction.114186686.html. We take pride in our work and stand by our "contract pricing" we don't mark things up with change-orders after the fact, which is a common practice for the guys that come in lower to begin with. Again, I want to express my apologies and disappointment in the employees I left in charge in my absence.
