Pave hawk recently completed a concrete pad addition for our Camp trailer and felt compelled to share of our experience. From our first conversation until the completion of the project, Terry & Leon were professional, respectful, & honest! The quality of work was exceptional and we were more than satisfied with the finished product! After four years of having a dirt mountain in my back yard from a drain field redo, Leon with Pave Hawk removed about 60 yards of dirt and leveled my yard. It looks great. The price was fair and time frame to complete it worked with my schedule. Leon worked hard and has great customer service skills. Thanks

I do not like to give bad report or negative feedback. Most often, negative ratings on websites are offered by chronic complainers and those who seem to enjoy ripping open other persons and/or places of business, merchandise, etc. that did not meet up to the personal standards and expectations of the providers of feedback. However, I can not sit quietly and throw salt over my left shoulder as regards the unprofessional services and inferior products I received in exchange for a significant sum of money surrendered to Pave Hawk Construction (1065 S. Allante Place, Boise, ID 83709). I shall, however, attempt to maintain an objective posture throughout this expository. My wife (Ph.D., university research professor) and I (BS, MBA, retired nuclear power plant operator/engineer/simulator instructor, 10 years active duty in USN submarine service, 20% VA disabled veteran) contracted with Pave Hawk to remove backyard concrete patio slab and replace with new, stamped concrete patio. The given start date was not met, and we were told that the job would commence one week later than planned. That meant that the concrete pour would be on the same day my family and I went on vacation. Again, however, the slab pour had to be postponed. It seemed to us that the need to perform concrete pours for other clients precluded the need to perform a concrete pour for us, but we cannot be certain of this. We then were told that our concrete pour would occur during our vacation time. When we returned from our ten day vacation, we found that our concrete pour still had not taken place. Throughout, we stayed cool, calm and collected and made every effort to show that we were cooperative and understanding and able to adjust to the needs of changing situations. We did not receive similar courtesy in return. We tried to communicate, but got no responses or, at best, insufficient ones. Finally, we sent messages to Pave Hawk expressing that we were annoyed. We were soon notified that our concrete pour would take place the following Thursday or Friday. The pour did, indeed, take place that Friday. By my observations, it seemed to me that the pour went well. However, the stamping process (introducing the patterns, colors and textures upon the surface of the slab) yielded disastrous results 1) Double stamping, 2) Sticky surface scarring (the numerous tiny hills and pits left behind when something is lifted up and off a sticky surface like peanut butter on bread that falls, face down, onto a smooth, tiled floor), 3) Gouged, rough spaces between the paving stones (simulated by stamping) NOT looking like a stone surface and NOT resembling the images shown to us, 4) Where smooth seams should have been found, there are rough cuts and scrapes dug out of the concrete. In many locations, the underlying concrete matrix is clearly visible, 5) Found out after-the-fact that the guy who performed the stamping had no prior experience with that specialized skill, 6) Concrete colors were not consistent. In some places, it appeared that no color was introduced at all. Most of the finished surface was a dull and lifeless gray, looking quite literally like concrete . Aside from being greatly disappointed, we were also very shocked to find several large, arc-shaped grooves cut into the surface of the new, concrete deck. We had not been told that such arcs would be cut. We were told (ex post facto) they were necessary to prevent subsequent cracking of the slab and surface. Specialists evaluated and made recommendations that we should be offered a discount or that the botched job should be completely torn up and removed in favor of a complete restart. Unfortunately, my wife took a $1000 discount offer on an $11,000 total price. IOW, for doing a job poorly, Pave Hawk still ended up in the black. We are left with a disgraceful and unsightly abomination upon which to entertain our guests and ourselves.

Pave Hawk was hired to do an addition to an existing cement patio, with a sitting wall, and cap. The patio was stamped concrete and colored. They have accomplished the desired outcome. We did need some flexibility about timing, as they have gotten very busy, during the project. All in all, they have done a great job, The people, especially Leon, were great to work with. Terry, while out of state, still kept in touch to stay on top of the project and keep me informed as needed. Jared was also helpful in the process, and communication was frequent, and dependable. I would recommend them. We are happy with the results!

I have changed my review for this company. The work they did on my patio was not good and I had some issues having them get back to me. Part of the reason was their owner was out on military service and the other owner came over to my property and looked at the work that was completed and agreed with us that the work was not up to their standards and has agreed to tear up the areas the areas and re-pour to make it right. He apologized for the work that was done and I am happy to say that they are standing behind their work. I would recommend this company because I think the work that was done the first time wasn't their normal product and had a new team on my project that didn't do the work to the standards of their company. When project is fixed and to their normal standards I will re-rate.

I have a dream project, "A One Off Job" I hired Pave Hawk construction. A team of professionals, including the quote, work preformed and finished job. Hiring Terry Parham with his team was the best decision and investment. They're honorable, reliable and trustworthy. Leon is their professional of concrete, he worked with our schedule, a schedule I had changed a few times and he always accommodated. Leon completed a phase of our garage bathroom addition in preparing the concrete floor for framework, getting our project back on track. Well done !! Leon does excellent work, a great asset to Pave Hawk construction On the next phase of our addition, Terry has connected us with his floor covering professional Brice Downing for finished floor work, whom we have hired and are excited to be working with Brice. Pave Hawk subcontractors communicate in a timely manner with shared knowledge and professionalism. A pleasure working with them.

Due to faulty concrete work by another company that didn't stand by its work, I needed the footings for my carport posts replaced. I found Pave Hawk on a search and they had great reviews, so I contacted Pave Hawk and spoke to Terry Parham. Even though it was a small job (but not an easy one), Terry promptly sent out Leon Mynhardt to access the situation and I was quickly given a quote by Terry. Within a few days, the weather improved enough for Leon to perform the work. Leon is a pro. Did a fantastic job. He showed me what was done incorrectly by the original installer. Very conscientious, super efficient and a really nice guy. I am delighted with the results of Leon's work. The footings look great and, more importantly, I no longer have to worry about my carport collapsing. If you are looking for a concrete company, I highly recommend Pave Hawk Construction.

Terry, Leon and all the other service providers were all very punctual, professional and pleasant to work with. After each work day everything was cleaned up and ready for the next day. Leon had to remove and reset some pavers I had down each side of my driveway. He did an awesome job replacing them and even poured some extra concrete to hold them in place. Terry and Leon stayed in contact with me on a regular basis as the job progressed. The price was good and the finished driveway is beautiful. I would highly recommend Pave Hawk Construction to family and friends.

The guys that came to the house did a fantastic job and were very efficient in their work. The only improvement I would recommend for the company as a whole is to keep the customer updated when a project is delayed. Due to the size of my project it was hard for the company to get a concrete truck out to my property and during that time it would have been nice to get a quick text letting me know that there would not be concrete that day. Either way, the project turned out great and I would gladly use them again and would recommend their services to my family and friends.

They were willing to work with my schedule and as a single working mom, that was absolutely important plus they got the job done in less time than originally quoted.

I would definitely recommend this business. They were very professional and friendly. Terry, Leon & Kyle were all a pleasure to work with. They accommodated our schedule perfectly! We had multiple projects -- leveling for a shed, installation of a concrete pad for a swim spa and the install of a French drain. Everything was completed to our satisfaction.
