The technician cut into the beams in the garage without discussing the cuts with me, took too much wood out of the beams and did not take his time with the cuts and installed the garage door opener in a bit of a rush. We called Overhead Door and had a manager review the work. The manager claimed the work was done correctly although it is clear the beams were cut much too deeply, the new track did not fit into the new cuts evenly and overall the work was sloppy. I would not recommend using Overhead Door again. Also, I am not confident they serviced the existing door & lubricated the springs which they claimed to.
Description of Work: We had Overhead Door install a new garage door opener, a new keypad and sensors as well as service the existing door and springs.

+ -1 moreThe man was very helpful and did a really good job. The only problem I had was they didn’t adjust the door right and they had to come back out. It wouldn’t go clear down and stay down. They still need to come out again. It’s just an adjustment issue.
Description of Work: I used Overhead Door Company for my garage door openers. Last time I had them out was November. My garage door got off track; our electricity went off and I had to open it manually. When I did that it got off track. He came out and took care of it for me.

+ -1 moreHad a torsion spring break on our garage door, called Overhead door and they came in almost $30 cheaper than anyone else for parts and labor. (Parts were $90, labor $65) They did mention on the phone that $155 for the whole thing was a "rough estimate" and that it could end up being a little more. We have a standard 2 car metal garage door, so parts and labor could definitely vary based on the size of your garage and torsion springs. I setup the appointment for a Friday morning I had work off and was told he would arrive between 8am and 8:30am. Also was told it would take about an hour. The gentleman showed up promptly at 8:05am and was very professional and friendly. I ended up having both springs replaced as I'd read online that is what you should do and the gentleman also suggested it was a good idea. I was shocked after 30 minutes he was done! The gentleman showed up earlier than I had expected and finished much earlier than I anticipated. I was extremely happy! Garage works like new and the price was exactly what they quoted me! Overhead door is my only choice for all future garage door needs.
Description of Work: I had both Torsion springs replaced on my garage door after one side had broken.
