Description of Work: Ogata's were the contractor on a whole house remodel (2-story home built in 1909) in the Northend. They gutted the house, moved walls and matched as much of the old trim with the new. They did a fantastic job. They were thorough, exact, friendly and extremely punctual. They were not the least expensive, but the price they quoted us, was the price we paid. |And we definitely got what we paid for. We found out after the fact that there were several issues during the project, but that was on them to figure it out within the project price. We heard nothing of more cost unless we changed or upgraded what was not in the initial scope of work. All of their contractors were courteous and meticulous and did a great work. |We've had the tile and wood flooring contractor as well as the electrician and the plumber come back for other projects and have referred Ogata's and their contractors to several of our friends. |How did it go? It went really well! We've been back in the house for 2 years now and love every minute of being in this home they helped us create.

 + -1 moreOgata was very professional. They promptly responded to my house to do a bid for a bonus room. It was more than I was ready to spend but they did not lie just to get my business. What they bid is what the job costs. The owner also responded which I appreciated. I just had a small job and they never made me feel like I was wasting their time. I highly recommend this company.

 + -1 moreOn Friday night Aug. 16th, we noticed a large bubble in our living room ceiling and knew we had a water leak. We called Danny Johnson w/ Ogata Construction and he came over right away, assessed the situation and had a plumber come over that night and found the source of the leak and repaired it! Then on Monday the dry wall was repaired and by the end of the week it was painted~DONE! You can't even tell we had a leak! Beautiful work done by all! The reason I called Ogata Construction is because they have done two additions to our home, I love their work and I trust the company and Danny Johnson.

Danny and his team are consumate professionals with their client's best interests at heart. I am looking forward to our next project and will be going with Ogata Construction.
Description of Work: Ogata Construction assisted with re-designing our Entertainment Center to accommodate a new flat screen television. Ogata Construction also helped in removing a very large wall in our garage down to the studs to assist with an insect issue we were having. They also hauled away all of the debris, blew in new insulation, and installed new dry wall. The garage issue was a last minute project that came up and everyone at Ogata was more than willing to help us immediately.

 + 3 moreIt was a long process with Ogata Construction, but it went exactly as they said it would and at the price they said it would be at. In the middle they redid the front concrete up to the front of the house, because we had a rainstorm and water seeped down into the basement due to cracks under the sidewalk. They fixed all that for me too. That wasn't even in the original plans, but the water got downstairs, which wet the brand new carpet so they came in and made sure the carpet got dried out and they tracked the problem back to the yard and fixed it there. If they came across an issue they fixed it. They seem to care a lot about the quality of work they do. I felt like they cared about my home more than just the job. They wanted it to come out right and it did. They came back a couple of times, because of forgetting a bit a molding and that kind of thing and I had no problem with them. They came back when they said they would and the price is what they said it would be. We were really pleased with them.
Description of Work: We just finished a remodel with Ogata Construction. They did new carpet, new paint, refinished all the woodwork in the house, they installed a new shower, new bathroom floors, a new shower door in another bathroom, replaced the backdoor, and replaced a side door.
