Description of Work: They tore out a diseased portion of my lawn and put in new seed. They were good at the technical side of the business but they did not always show up when they said they would and it was hard to get them to return phone calls

 + -1 moreI needed a basic "tutor" for my backyard; I had some plants and trees that I hired them to help me learn to care for and assess. The wife came over, TWICE, with no tools. What kind of gardener comes to your home with no tools?!? The first visit was for me to assess her... She had no more than an incredibly basic knowledge of gardening, not at all what I would consider to be professional. She could say, "that plant is struggling" but could not explain why. Before the second visit I told her specifically what I would need her knowledge on, I.e. Some espalier trees and blueberry bushes. When she came for the second appt (30 minutes late) she was literally on her phone trying to get information on the espaliers WHILE she was trying to tell me how to care for it. Couldn't answer questions, and again... No tools. Didn't even know that blueberries require an acidic environment. She was good for BASIC plant identification and weeding. THATS IT. An absolute disappointment.

Description of Work: Andy Koopman, the owner of Nature's Nest has been taking care of our yard for four plus years and is consistently pleasant to work with and you can count on him and his crew to do a good job. He not only talkes care of our lawn but does a twice a year yard clean-up, trims our bushes and rakes up and removes the leaves in the Fall.

 + -1 moreHe was great. He was very punctual. He completed the work in the time he said. He was very professional and friendly. He was actually quicker than I thought it would be. I thought he was pretty cheap with high quality results. I will to use him.
