We went to the store twice to choose the materials and spoke to them to get a quote. After more than 2 weeks and many phone calls to get a quote, he still has not gotten back to us. He kept saying it will be delivered today or tomorrow......How disappointing!! Can't imagine the service for installation. There are so many other responsible companies to choose from.

Great, only place big samples and found one my daughter liked. We did our own install turned out great. Kitchen, living room, hall and all bedrooms
Description of Work: Selected and Bought laminate for small house
Flooring: Outstanding work. Crew showed up on time, removed all the old materials quickly, and proceeded to install without problems the subflooring and hardwood. It required temporary removal of hardwood molding in the MBR. This required craftsmanship and sensitivity and they pulled it off. My house is older, so choosing tasteful blinds that would preserve the age of the structure was paramount and the design consultant did a marvelous job. I'm delighted with it. I hihgly recommend this company for either flooring or window treatments.
Description of Work: Project consisted of two main areas. First, in master bed room, removal of exiting wall to wall carpet followed by installation of hardwood flooring to match the existing hardwood elsewhere in house. Secondl aspect was installation of blinds for a total of 23 windows.

Most of the work was done in two days. There was a little bit of follow up afterwards. They do get work done but they sub-contract out the work. So, they don't do it themselves. They're a good company and they're honest. They were a lot less expensive than the competition.
Description of Work: We had the kitchen remodel completed by Nampa Floors & Interiors. They put in new countertops, new sink, new cabinets and new pantry.
Nampa Floors provided a poor quality carpet and pad. After two years, it looks like it's been here for years, and we remove our shoes before entering our home. The Installers were very rude. A father and his two sons were contracted by Nampa Floors. They were rough and gruff, and was rude to my other contractor in my home. One of the sons p***** on and around my toilet twice, and guess who had to clean it up. I was not happy. The carpet seams are very noticeable, even after two years. They told me this was normal. I left several messages for the owner to call me about the situation, but he never did. I will NEVER use this company again. Now, I know what you're thinking - no one could probably please this lady. This is not the case. We had a complete remodel and I was completely satisfied with everyone except Nampa Floors. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY or you will regret it. I will have to replace all of my carpet within a couple of years. $3200 down the drain. As far as the laminate they put down, they had to do this twice, because the quality of the boards were horrible - damaged, blemished, chipped, etc. So my 2-3 days turned into 2-3 weeks - ridiculous. Most companies would have inspected the boards as they were being put down or before they delivered them. Even though the second install wasn't much better, they made me sign a release to release them from any further claims. What a company! This was the Five Mile location, not State Street.
Description of Work: Installed carpet and laminate.
Nampa Floors were great to deal with. Extremely professional and insisted on doing the job right.
Description of Work: Installed new carpet in four rooms plus stairs.

Jose's crew arrived promptly and got right to work removing the old flooring and replacing the new. They were conscientious, and diligent and worked steadily through the day. They got the floors for the dining and living rooms removed and replaced in a single day. They were hard-working, easy to talk to, good-natured, and very careful of my belongings and the house. The finished floor looks fantastic, a huge improvement to what was there. I would not hesitate to recommend Nampa Floors and this work crew to anyone.
Description of Work: Desiree arrived promptly, as scheduled to take measurements of the rooms in which the flooring was to be replaced. She provided me with a detailed estimate, and scheduled the delivery of the materials as well as the date the work crew was to replace the flooring.

I was totally ignored. Not one employee greeted me or asked me to be patient as all the other employees were busy (on the phone or talking to other employees). After 15 minutes of not one sales person even approaching me I just left and I will never go back.
Description of Work: At an unknown date during the spring or summer of 2013 I entered the store to shop for new flooring.

I waited a week for the bid. I called and Dave said he would get it to me that day. I received the bid via email. There was one line item I had a question on. I did not understand the terminology. I responded back with my question. I never heard back. I followed up. Still no response. I went with Cost Less Carpeting instead and my experience was great.
Description of Work: I needed new vinyl flooring in 2 bathrooms and my laundry room. Dave from Nampa Flooring came out, brought samples and measured.
I read the good reviews about this company on Angie's list and also got a referral for a particular salesperson in the company from contractor whose opinion I respected. Things began to go wrong when I didn't ask for the salesperson who was recommended to me. I talked to the person who answered the phone as I thought service from such a highly recommended company would be the same regardless of who I talked to for the estimate. We had a brief conversation during which I told him that I needed an estimate for my insurance company. That an old hot water heater had leaked and the water worked its way through the adjoining wall into a carpeted room. As we didn't realize it, by the time we discovered the problem the carpet was ruined. I filed a claim with the insurance company and set about to get a couple of estimates. The salesperson said he had to get to his desk to his calendar so we could make the appointment for him to come over and take measurements and he would call me back in 10-15 minutes. 3 hours later he called. We made the appointment for that evening . 20 minutes before the appointment he called to say he couldn't make it and we rescheduled for the next morning. He was here at the appointed time, was professional and polite in his manner. He took measurements and we discussed possibilities for replacement...carpet, tile, vinyl, etc. I discovered later that he apparently is not up on the latest flooring types that might be appropriate for that room and that there are better choices than he presented to me. He left promising to send the estimate to me by the next day. I waited 2 days and through the weekend. Monday, no estimate. On Tuesday I called. He said he thought he had sent that out and that he would drop it by the house that evening after work. He made good on that promise. However, when I looked at the estimate it was approximately $200 different than he had mentioned to me verbally. When I asked him about it he told me that if I looked at the figures I would see that it was about what he had said per square foot, and left. So I worked the figures the best I could (I'm still not sure if I understand what he meant) and it still didn't seem to work out the way he saw it. Bottom line was this all was very negative for me and I have since hired a different company to do the work and am having a positive experience which I will report on when the job is complete.
Description of Work: Initially I contacted this company for an estimate for carpet replacement in one of the rooms in our finished basement. Services I expected were return phone calls when promised, the appointment for the estimate work, and the estimate provided when promised as I needed to turn it in to the insurance company.

I hate this kind of a purchase. I do not like making decisions on various types of styles. The people at Nampa Floors were patient with me and worked around my schedule. They also offered their own creative advice. While the process is disruptive and time consuming, I am very happy with my new floor. Nampa had a wide variety of sample to look at when making the decision. They let me take as many samples home to ponder as I wanted and let me keep them for as long as I needed.
Description of Work: Worked with me to help decide on hardwood vs. tile vs. cork, etc. Installed floor and came back for minor touch-ups afterwards.

She helped us with color and left some choices. She suggested we look at night and during the day. We finally made our choices, she gave us estimates and away we went! We love our new laminate in the hall. I think it's quickstep by WilsonArt, no glue required and laminate in the kitchen. I think it's Shaw; with kids and pets and us dropping things constantly this has been a good choice. No kids hurting themselves on tile, yet we have the tile look. Much better than vinyl! Also, the installer said we needed to replace our air vent. He ended up using the material to create one for us. He did a great job! Carpet looks great in living room; Mohawk, love the color called Megan. Only problem we had was that the laminate in the hallway slipped and they needed to come out to repair; the guy ended up getting sick, we kind of got put on hold, but they got the job done and we're happy now! Also, even though they needed to order more product, she stuck to the estimate. We weren't out more money.
Description of Work: First we went to the store (Nampa off of Maple Grove & Overland) then the sales gal came out to the house to get measurements & brought some samples. We wanted to replace our carpet in the hallway (to laminate) & redo the kitchen floor & replace the carpet in the family room or to put in laminate. We also kept debating between laminate & tile, in the kitchen. We decided to have them do the installation because we didn't want to glue, etc. I think this was a good choice!
