Description of Work: Recommended an underlayment for engineering wood floor, then during complaint of horrible noises while walking on floor, attributed it to wrong underlayment (too spongy)...which remember THEY recommended to me and sold me for more money. They take no responsibility.

Description of Work: Needed a replacement wooden heater vent. Even though I was the only person in the showroom, it took a long time for the sales person to locate the item I needed.

 + -1 moreI called their help line for putting my flooring in and I was helped immensley. Their 1-800 number was very helpful. I didn't buy finished lumber. It went really well, I've always been pleased with their service. It's not a very big store, but they try to help you out the best they can. I think the prices are very good.
Description of Work: Lumber Liquidators is giving me the thresholds and reducers for my flooring.

 + 0 moreManager, Brian, did a good job of helping us select the right wood and at a sale price. Company's reputation for having knowledge of products in flooring industry is well earned. Brian did NOT do a good job in asking us enough questions to help us avoid delay in getting project scheduled and started. We had to go back twice with additional inquiries that we had been told about by his competitors and neighbors. Each time, Brian's comment was "Oh, Yeah. You do NEED to do that." So, why didn't Brian OFFER that at the beginning? Ex: Brian "knew" (later on) that we should have designed the floor vent inserts to be flush mounted, but we "didn't ask" before. We wondered if we were playing either Clue (as in to get a clue), or 21 Questions.
Description of Work: Purchased 600 square feet of Virginia Millworks 4" wide oak hardwood flooring.
