I am quite satisfied with the service and results I received from Erik, the owner. My carpet is light-colored and had three areas of typical traffic grime along with food and drink spills from my grandson. It even had one splotch of red acrylic paint that I was unable to remove entirely. Erik began the job by examining the carpet and asking what caused the different stains so he would know how to treat each of them. He thoroughly vacuumed the carpet and sprayed a special solution on the toughest stains. He then shampooed the entire carpet, giving extra attention to the worst areas. He was even able to remove the acrylic paint stain entirely. The carpet dried quickly and looks great. I plan to hire him again to clean the carpet under my couch once I replace it. (I asked him to shampoo around it.) Erik was professional and pleasant. He said he had a good deal of experience in the carpet cleaning industry but wanted to run his own business. He said he also offers other cleaning services, including upholstery and uncarpeted floors. We discussed my old-fashioned, unsealed hardwood floors and the possibility of cleaning them. He said he could do some research and when he comes back to shampoo the carpet under the couch, we can discuss it. His wife Monique, who answers the phone and schedules appointments for the business, called a couple of days after the carpet was cleaned to make sure I was satisfied. First off, I like to feel I have a relationship with strangers I give money to for services. In this case, Erik is a fine example of an owner-operator, who is all about exceeding customer expectations. He certainly exceeded mine. He arrived on time and spent two hours doing his utmost to get my carpets as clean like new. I was very impressed with his work and his knowledge concerning all aspects of floor cleaning.. he does not use the standard vacuum cleaner /waterjet mess that ruins the jute carpeti backing, but instead uses a special carpet brush that does a fantastic job, leaving your carpet looking brand new.
