Finer Floors

It went very well. Subcontractors were very professional and reliable. Frank Starman, the owner of Finere Floors, called each day to see how things were going.

I have contacted Finer Floors multiple times over the last 3 months. They are very polite, responsive on the phone and show up to give the estimate on time. After that, I don't hear back. I have called multiple times, speak with someone who assures me they are working on what ever it is that needs to be written out and I never hear back.

Finer Floors is located close to my home, so I went to the showroom to review options and discuss costs with the owner, Frank. Finer Floors is a family run operation and has been in Boise a number of years. Frank was very helpful and suggested I might want to consider some vinyl he had in stock instead of special ordering vinyl at a higher cost. He had purchased a number of vinyl overruns from the manufacturers at discounted prices. He provided several samples which I took home and kept for a few days. I decided upon a Mannington Sobella Deluxe product, which was installed about a week later. Installers Mike and Brian did a very professional job, arriving early around 8:30AM and finishing up around 1:30PM the same day. They moved the furniture out of the room before they did the installation and returned it when they completed the job. They removed the old carpeting and hauled away all debris from the job. Since the all season room was an and quot;add onand quot; room to the back of my home, one wall was the brick exterior wall of the original home. Initially, we decided to use baseboard only along the three walls and not the base of the brick wall. However, once the job was completed I decided I wanted to have baseboard installed along the brick wall as well. I called Frank and he arranged for Mike and Brian to come out a few days later to add the baseboard to the wall, which took very little time. The room is dramatically different with the addition of the beautiful vinyl. It has modernized the room considerably and the vinyl flooring is so much more practical for use in a garden room. I think Finer Floors was very responsive to my needs, offered a cost saving alternative, and was prompt to install the flooring. I am happy to recommend Finer Floors to anyone.

The whole job was superior. We have used them before. I am happy to recommend them. The price was fair. They are generally reasonably priced for good quality work, whether they contract th work out or do it themselves. They stand behind their work.
