Finally an amazing painting company in the Treasure Valley! We were in search of a painter to paint our mid century brick house. After contacting several painting companies, we found Eye Gotcha Covered. Tim came out promptly and walked around our house and gave us a guaranteed bid with a completion date. Tim and his crew were at our house from the date of hire to completion and we couldn't be happier with the quality and care put into our home. They clean and professional in all areas of the job. Time was put into not damaging our shrubbery, and the crew even replaced some areas were we had some rot at no additional cost. Eye Gotcha Covered went above and beyond! We couldn't be happier! Thank you guys and we will be using you in the future!

The work went great. Tim showed up prior to each job and gave me an honest breakdown of what each house requires. Since I flip houses for a profit, I do the majority of the remodel work by myself and with my partners. The one service we always hire out is the repainting. A nice paint job can be the difference whether your house will sell or not, which is why we trust professionals like Tim and his hard working crew of employees. They break down the cost for me on each house, that way we can calculate that into our profit/losses before the job begins. With multiple projects already completed, for all future projects I will only be using Eye Gotcha Covered.
Description of Work: Being a realtor/residential real estate investor, I have needed multiple houses to be repainted, interior and exterior. The jobs vary per house, but the majority needed both interior and exterior work done. Whether it was a full repaint or just a few touch-ups, we always use Eye Gotcha Covered Painting.

this was the 4th house that I have hired eye gotcha covered to paint in the last ten years. this time, just like all the others , my phone calls and concerns were addressed promptly. even when I have showno up randomly in the middle of the day during the projects I was pleased to see the care taken with the landscaping and personal property .everything was covered and or moved away from accident zone.almost all of the projects were completed in the time frame I had been given. the one time it went over was due to inclement weather. the pricing makes me feel good because it's reasonable to afford and yet I don't feel like I'll get an inferior service. I will obviously continue to use this company and definitely recommend them to friends and family.

Horrible horrible experience. We personally feel extremely scammed on a job bid for $11,800....and personally this was our worst contractor experience ever. We had a big job. The owner, Tim pursued our job for approx 6 weeks, visited the property on 3 separate occasions to provide a quote. Tim looked me in the eye, gave me his word and sold me a dream that did not come to fruition. He said "7 days, I'll have 4 guys here for 7 days". 6 weeks later job was still not completed. Four guys were not on my job. In fact, there was almost a fight in my home between two of the painters, which escalated to my backyard, and then moved into my garage. I as a homeowner shouldn't have to deal with that. Unacceptable. Unprofessional. Hardwood floors, moving in, pod storage were delayed with this paint company. That cost us extra money. Tim Palmer Looked me in the eye in my kitchen and Said he was a Sherwin Williams guy and could color match anything I liked. Not one Sherwin Williams can was brought into my home! Felt a little like a bait and switch, brought in Rodda paint and started spraying. 23 doors he sprayed with Rodda Satin Wall paint. Wall paint!! Satin!! Was not a color match and not even the same sheen!!! One of his painters told me it was old paint from a previous job that he was mixing and trying to use up. I called Tim Palmer on it, asked him why he wasn't using doors and trim paint on my DOORS AND TRIM?? Makes sense, right? Made him respray, makes me feel bad for asking, resprays the doors, forgets to flip some over, so now I have doors sprayed only on one side. They used colored cardboard to prop up the newly sprayed doors, not only did the dye transfer to the door but it also transferred to my newly painted walls AND when they removed the cardboard it took the paint right off. No one marked which of the 23 doors went where, it was like friggin musical doors, they tried to hang the pantry door in the bathroom, I had doors hung upside down, hardware put on backwards so doors would close, half a lock from downstairs put with half a lock upstairs so It didn't even work properly. One door jam had 4 different doors hung and I still don't know if it's the right door. I mean, what professional does this! My powder coated dark hardware was thrown into a bucket and dinged all to ****. Tim Palmer bought giant wood screws instead of hinge screws because no one knew where the original hardware went and screwed those giant screws into my beautiful wood doors and split them right up the back. Four doors split! They oversprayed the base on about 700 sq ft of hardwood floor that needed to be sealed....guess who scraped it off with a razor blade....ME!! My Mom was present when I became furious with the painters, I wanted a witness to what was happening. My family came out to help me rehang 23 doors and reassemble the hardware properly so my doors would just shut. My family came down from Cascade with proper tools because shelving had to cut down so they could be put back into place in the sprayed cabinets. I now have spray lines on my walls and two story entry. Paint Cans that I paid for were left in their van and froze, touch up paint buckets were left with their dirty paint rollers inside. I had to recut all ceiling and base lines in my home because in my opinion it looked extremely sloppy. I have paint SIMPLY peeling off of my base which means it was NOT sanded and primed like I was told was going to happen or what I contracted $11,800 for! They left my job frequently to bid out other jobs. What about my job???? Finish my job!!!!! I still have projects left to wrap up, which was the whole point of hiring professionals.....I don't need more work. They were vaping in my house, smoking in my garage, these things are minor but annoying nonetheless. Did not treat my job with respect. Was very much a "quick do things quickly and she will never know". Tim Palmer said my job would be "primo" and that "I Haven't seen nothing yet", however, Tim Palmer and Eye gotcha covered in our opinion DID NOT have US covered and we personally feel that they did us wrong. Never again would we use this company.

Description of Work: Painted the exterior of my house. I was on vacation at the time and although it was completed when I got back, I was told that they seemed slow. They missed areas but came back and fixed them right away.

The company was very responsive. Tim called me back very quickly after I first contacted them and was able to begin painting almost immediately. Painting job looks good, with only one tiny later touch-up needed. They quickly took care of that after I point out the necessity of the touch-up. I did check up on the company's city license and Better Business Bureau membership. Both had recently expired (by only a few weeks). I did mention this to the owner (that I had checked up on both). I would advise other customers to make sure that license and BBB membership are current.
Description of Work: Exterior painting of home for first time in 13 years. Painted and repaired yard cedar fence. Also painted tool shed in back yard. I also had them do some deck and patio work, they restained it.
