Description of Work: Matt made the center tables floral arrangement and the bride's bouquet for our daughter small wedding party.

Description of Work: Edwards is one of the great local greenhouses/nurseries in the Boise area. They are located in the north end, off of Hill Road. I've been going there for the last 30 years. Edwards has pretty much anything one could want when it comes to landscaping plants. | |I am very keen on Edwards, and enjoy browsing and purchasing there. Usually, the advice I get from the employees is very good. On a few occasions, I have received what I consider not-so-good advice. Once, for example, when asking about a good shade plant for a section of my garden, the employee (who seemed to not be too happy to have to answer that question) quickly recommended spurge. What a mistake! The spurge took over the garden and was difficult to eradicate. It wasn't at all what I was looking for. Make sure, if you ask for advice, you are clear in what you want. | |Other than some clunker pieces of advice here and there, I recommend Edwards.

Description of Work: I had received a wonderful gift certificate from my realtor, Jacque Neef. I finally got to Edwards and felt like I had been transported to a magical place. It's just fun.I had a big list of plants and trees and shrubs to find so asked for help. A really neat lady, Terry?, jumped right in to assist. We went through my list. She gave me lots of info on plants because I am new to this state and zone. She had a great sense of humor and made a big job turn into a fun experience.Everyone there was smiling, helpful.I loaded what I could into my suv, leaving 2 trees and 2 large shrubs behind to be delivered later. I called them yesterday, june 20, to arrange delivery. to my dismay, there was a $65.00 fee. I understand their costs but really had to gulp that I had paid so much money in one shopping trip and now had to pay an additional 65 to get my last 4 items. Since I live alone, I really couldn't manage the 2 trees and large shrubs alone.The woman I spoke to (Lori) was very understanding and asked me to please call back in the morning, to speak with the manager, Kathleen. I did that. Kathleen was not available but another woman had already researched the entire situation (it was 830AM) and was working on a solution! THIS IS GREAT SERVICE. She asked if I would be willing to have them delivered in a different manner, the florist, for 10 dollars. well, of COURSE! She called me back immediately, having made the arrangements. I spoke to the florist and my large plants will be delivered today, for 12 dollars. I am beyond thrilled with this great solution, helpful to both of us.Even with a nice tip, this will be a great help to me.
