Description of Work: They landscaped our front and back yard (1/3 acre) with trees and bushes and new sod. Clyde Lingo was really great to work with initially. He assured me that his best man would supervise the workers, and the job would not be considered finished until we were happy. Once we signed on the dotted line, it was a totally different story. The work was sub-par, and customer service was even worse. When we raised a concern or had a question, he talked to us like we were ignorant, and he was rude when he did it. I could go on and on about this. Just do yourself a favor, and steer clear of this outfit, they might do good commercial work, but if you're looking for a final product that you can be proud of, and great customer service during and after, GO WITH SOMEONE ELSE!!!

+ -1 moreI was not totally pleased with Cutting Edge. There are different divisions within the business, so you get a different team depending on what you need done. That is not a bad thing, by itself. Each year we had sprinkler blowout and restart done for our home and two rentals. The sprinkler adjustment after sprinkler start up was poor. You should not have to go around and adjust your own sprinklers after start up if you paid for that. The fertilizing and weed control were done quickly and professionally. They always called to say when they would be out, and then were out on that day. Mowing was quick...they have a crew and multiple machines and take care of front and back very quickly. This is nice, so the noise goes away fast. The landscaping we had done (about $5000 for re-grading, grass and plants) was good. There were a couple of issues, but when we brought them to the attention of the foreman they were rectified quickly. The resulting yard 1 year later is the prettiest on the street. Overall good, not excellent. But they don't do residential anymore, so unless you have a large landscaping job or commercial maintenance they are probably not interested.
Description of Work: I have used Cutting Edge in the past for both residential landscaping and lawn maintenance and fertilizing. Note that we just received a letter from Cutting Edge that they will no longer be doing residential lawn maintenance and fertilizing, concentrating instead on the commercial market. I assume they still do residential landscaping, but the letter did not say.
