CFI FLOORING SYSTEMS

I thought in the beginning that the project would be good and that they understood my position. They came to my home to take measurements and to see the project. They came to install carpet in two rooms and they left. This was all they had time to install that day. I had them come back to install three large rooms and the guys needed to leave to get their paychecks and get to the bank. They weren't exactly done that day but I let it slide because I knew that they still had the living room and dining room to install carpet in. They told me that I purchased enough carpet for the living room and dining room, however, they didn't calculate correctly so I agreed to install some of the hardwood flooring in the living room. I was pleased with the outcome. Each time that an appointment was set up, it seemed to get bumped or a misunderstanding would occur and I would find that somebody misunderstood the scheduling. I even rescheduled an appointment so the guys could have a longer weekend. When I called to reschedule, Bob (hardwood Manager) was belligerent to me because he had made the scheduling mistake and his guys weren't available now and they had to leave town to complete another job. I was severely delayed. I continued on with all my other projects and when it came time to complete the final hardwood install my husband contacted Mike (Store Manager). He told us that he would check the schedule and get back to us. He did not return the call and so I called him back. I explained that I was now ready for the final install and that the project would only use 40 Sq. feet of the final 135 Sq. feet that I had paid for. He started yelliing at me and told me that I was never to come back to their store and that they can't stand people like me. He said that I got extra money out of them because of their calculation error and that they had completed more work than they were paid for. The work that he said they completed was never completed. After he was done yelling at me, I told him to refund my money and that coming back to his store would not be a problem for me. He refused to give my money back and I agreed to let his workers come back to my home. The only reason I let them come back was because his workers were extremely nice, polite and they did excellent work. They showed up in a timely manner when they actually knew they were coming to install. The Managers of this store are not professional to women and especially women in construction. I would only hire the workers again and will never do business with either Bob or Mike of this store. I believe that I was polite, fair and certainly more than reasonable with them until they were rude and insulting and then I held my ground. A buyer should never be put in this situation and had I been a man, I believe that this never would have occurred.

The quality of work was excellent.
