Disclaimer: I only interacted with Bright Electric via phone; they did not come to the house. As such, I was impressed with how promptly he returned my call, with how friendly and professional he was on the phone, with how transparent he was up front about price estimates for the problem I described. The only reason I did not hire him was because the other guy I called (I called multiple companies and left messages) eventually called me back and was able to come a few days earlier.

Andy was amazing. It was really nice to have a professional who explained things and did such good work.

He has done a total of 3 jobs for us. We were extremely pleased with all of the work he did. He was very responsive, very personable, he is quick, gets it done, and everything went just fine. It was really inexpensive, and he did really good work. I have already decided that if I have future electrical work, that is who I am calling first. I like that they are quick, and that they specialize in small jobs. I think he does do some new construction, but he is geared up. It is a family owned thing, actually I think it is just him. He is very responsive. He is quick, and when you've got just a little job, you call bigger contractors and they will put you in the queue somewhere and a month down the line he might call you and say I will be over next week. Andy, you call him up and he says okay I will be there the day after tomorrow and he shows up and gets the work done and you are done with it. The work that they have done has turned out great, no complaints at all.

Exceeded my expectations. Andy was fantastic. He returned calls same day & even when my voice mail box was full he kept trying to reach me until he finally did. (His work & professionalism went the same way :) Saved me extensive additional costs & when asked lent his opinion going forward on my project. Friendly, Intelligent, knows what he is doing ... Awesome, awesome, awesome. Andy was 5 minutes early and was really nice. He inspected the issue and came up with a great solution. Also, I told him that I was not knowledgeable about wiring so he spent the time to explain what he was doing along the way. 5 stars and would recommend him in a heart beat.

This is the third time I used Andy and what a pro. On time, reasonably priced and did everything he said he would do. I couldn't emphasize enough what a pro he is and highly recommend him to anyone.

Andy is a stand up guy, he was straight forward with the pricing, told me he would be able to figure it out in about 20 min and he was spot on. The down side is the builder who built my house did the cheapest way possible to drop a power line and that is going to be expensive at some point. But even with that Andy was able to tell me a cheaper way to fix the solution. I was very please with his service and professionalism and would absolutely call him again.

Andy showed up on time, quickly completed the task and cleaned up mess created by need to enter attic to install wiring. Cost was less than originally estimated.

Andy arrived on time and got right to work. Completed the installation in less time than expected. Was very respectful with regards to protecting property, (i.e., carpets, walls, clean-up, etc.) Exceeded all expectations. A very nice and professional guy! I highly recommend Brite Electric.

They were awesome. They did what needed to be done and the experience was good.

Andy came out to evaluate our needs and provided a written estimate. After we reviewed it, we called and scheduled the work. He was very prompt and courteous, explaining when the power would be out and for how long. The work took 2 days as expected and he also fixed an issue with some exterior wiring that we were not aware of. In the end, he did not add one penny to our final bill (which matched our estimate exactly) even through he did extra work to fix that unexpected problem! We were very pleased with his work ethic and the work done, the inspection came back with flying colors. We would definitely hire Brite Electric again for our household electrical work.

We'd been having intermittent problems at the house for a couple of months, never able to trace it to anything specific. Andy was able to trace our issues to a nearly burned up main breaker. He found the problem and replaced it quickly and charged what I think was a very fair price. I'm about to hire him again for another mysterious problem we are having. Highly recommend as he was honest and even helped me understand some things about our system that I did not know.

We were very happy with Andy's work. He responded promptly to email contact and showed up on time, every time. His business was professional: formal receipts; van identified with company name, etc.; website; BBB accredited since 2007. He was upfront about what could and couldn?t be done, talked through various options, and was creative at solving problems. We also appreciated his efforts to help us figure out what ?mystery? switches controlled, and other oddities we are finding in the house.

The bad thing about Brite Electric is you may have to wait for the service since Andy is a "one-man" company and he does stay busy. Based upon his work ethics and professionalism, I can see why he is in demand from customers. He gave me a quote over the phone for $130.00 and that is what I ended up paying him for the service. He was on time for the appointment, as a matter of fact he showed up five minutes early. Since our home is only four years old, getting up into the attic was easy and running the electrical line was not that difficult for him. The most time consuming part of the job was rewiring the wall switches to accommodate the new switch for the fan. It took him just a little over a hour to complete the job and clean up. While I am sure there are other companies in the Boise area that could probably do the same work I am totally convinced Andy and Brite Electrics Co is the company I will call in the future. Highly recommend him for anyone.

Perfect service. He scheduled his time very well and gave an exact arrival time instead of a range. He did the work to a very clean and professional level. The cost was reasonable and clearly stated up front. Can't ask for better service! Andy is personable, trustworthy, and fast.

Andy was prompt, professional, and quickly identified the problem. Fortunately it was a quick fix and he had all of our bathroom electrical outlets working again in no time.

Andy was terrific! He talked to me about what I was looking for and helped me find the right product. He gave me the option of purchasing the items myself and he would install, or he'd purchase them for me and take care of everything. I let him do it all and it looks terrific. Andy is very nice and professional - he does great work at a fair price. This is the second time I've used him and I would recommend him to anyone.

We had a light go out in one of our bedrooms. I was able to see that there was an exposed wire in the casing (recessed lighting). I don't have a lot of experience with that type of lighting so I called Andy based on the reviews here. He was very professional on the phone and in person as well. He fixed the light in less than an hour and actually arrived at our house earlier than scheduled as he finished a previous job earlier. I would definitely recommend him to anyone looking for a quality electrician.

I called and left a message with Brite Electric. Within a few hours, I received a call back. The caller was able to explain to me what the problem probably was. He directed me how to find the GFI on that circuit. Within a few minutes, the Christmas lights were back on. If I ever need any electric work in the future, I will certainly use Brite Electric. They were punctual, knowledgeable and helpful.
