 + 1 moreI got a few bids on the work. Boise Metal Works was probably the best overall for price and quality.They measured for the bid; measured after the first post was installed; measured again when the 2nd post was installed and when the gate went in it looked and worked great. The welds on the gate are well done. Nothing sloppy there. And the powder coat finish is good as well. The gate is a nice addition to the look of our house.The guys that worked on the gate were solid, smart workmen. They were about their work quickly and they were in and out. It took about a 1/2 day for the actual installation. They were on site 4 times to set to two posts, install the gate and to do touch up and adjustments. I called to check on the status a couple times and always was able to get a straight answer about when the next phase would happen.
Description of Work: I needed a large metal gate to replace a part of my wooden fence. The gate had to be set on steel posts and swing across a large section of the yard. It needed to be sturdy but not bulky. Boise Metal was able powder coat the gate and posts to closely match the trim on our house, they worked with us when there were sprinkler lines in the area a post needed to be placed, and they came back and did touch up work on the gate's finish after installation.I was totally satisfied with the quality of their work. They told me that they were backed up and needed time to manufacture the gate but they were timely within that situation.
