ASSURED QUALITY LAWN SPRNKLNG

Avoid at all cost! Overcharges and charges for work NOT performed. We called Assured Quality because they had serviced the system at our new home for years. Big mistake. Asked for sprinkler turn-on this spring. Guy spends twenty minutes, then leaves with little flags everywhere. I did not notice them until the next day. Called and astked about flags, was told not to worry about them and remove them. Turns out, there were leaks everywhere, and he didn't bother fixing any of them. Fast forward two days. I noticed water gushing from our backflow valve. Call AQ back. Owner comes out and tries to sell us a new one that, as he put it, "will soon be banned by the city", but is much better. To make a long story short, we ended up taking the backflow valve out completely, since we have a well and don't really need it. Time to take valve out: 20 mins. Estimated cost as per owner, $200.00. When we received the bill, we were charged $550 for a new backflow. We called the company, left message. Three days later owner calls, claiming that the invoice is correct; the price is still the same, the work description should be different though. Excuse me?!

Absolutely shocked that this company practices defrauding multiple people, inflating bills for services never discussed or ever even happened. Do not use this lawn care service. There are many who are reputable, and have great businesses here to help our thriving local scene. This company should never be your choice! I'd have happily paid $25 for a mow but to tack up $48 more for misc. services that NEVER happened and defrauded people after I refuse to pay. Never never never use these people. Shows just who they are!

A technician came out as scheduled and rushed through the service, but he didn't fix anything and couldn't figure out why the system wasn't getting enough pressure. He said he'd tell the office and they'd send out a different tech the next day or day after who really knew what he was doing. I called the office the next day to let them know I still needed service and that I'd be out of town the following week. Nobody answered so I left a message. Nobody returned my call. The next week while I was out of town they sent over another tech who didn't fix it. I called when I returned, not even knowing that the second tech came over. They were going to make me wait another 2 weeks to get someone over here until I demanded service earlier because everyone they sent over previously didn't address the problem. So they sent a tech over in a couple days. He fixed broken sprinkler heads, made adjustments, and found the leak at the pump that was causing the pressure loss. Yay! If you hire this company, make sure you get Doug as the tech - he seems to be the only one who knows what he's doing and cares enough to do the work right.

They're available when I need them. They also give a discount if I schedule on a date that they're in our side of town. They don't charge more than anybody else. I don't think they charge differently. I would use them in the future.

I called to have my irrigation system turned on and checked out because we had recently purchased our house and we were sure if our system was adequate. I had quite a few questions that I wanted to ask. He came and turned the system on and tested everything and then came in to access the control box. After about an hour or so he left without coming to talk to me about it. I didn't even know what he had done or if there were any repairs that were an additional cost. I never got a chance to ask my questions. I called the office and told them that I had questions about our system that I wanted to ask him. She said she would try to get in touch with him and have him call me. He never did. I received the bill a couple weeks later and there were some minor repairs that were made ( a couple of sprinkler heads replaced ) which is fine, but I wanted to know about it at the time of service rather than after the fact.
