Advanced Lock and Key

We are really pleased with this company. We called in the early morning, and Kirk (the owner himself!) showed up a couple of hours later. Had it fixed in about 15 minutes. The cost was very reasonable, especially given that people who need a locksmith are often in some kind of emergency situation and could be taken advantage of pretty easily. Did a good job, was friendly, and the price was affordable. What more can you ask?!

Kirk was great. He knew exactly what to do with each door and made one key to unlock all 8 locks. This was easy!

I called on Friday afternoon and the service was scheduled for the next day. Joe arrived on time and performed the requested services quickly and efficiently.

Call to this business went directly to voicemail at 12:30pm on a Wednesday afternoon. Voicemail was full and could not accept messages. Is this a real business?

They were late the first morning which was not a big deal at all. Didn't have the proper circular bit as we have painted steel doors which we did not know but tried to cut the hole for the lock installation with what he had on hand. Didn't work so needed to get better bits. Again, not a big deal at all and understandable except he left a mess of dust and shavings all over the floor inside the door and on the table next to the door; rug tossed off to the side where he was working etc. Was going to come back later that day but then next day, then next evening but told him the following morning was fine. That wasn't a problem as we were in no hurry. Came next morning and had new bits but burned through several and complained about the cost and trouble of doing that. I am no expert but I believe there are circular drill blades made for cutting metal/steel. Regardless, not our responsibility. If the job was too difficult he could have just said so and not have to get angry over cost of bits and time and difficulty. When he completed the job and left again he left lots metal shavings and dust everywhere, on floor, on counter top in kitchen, all over coffee maker. It was a mess. Glad we got the job done, seemed responsive and we know he was busy with other jobs etc. Workmanship was so, so on the back door but it was not an easy install because of a window in that door and limited placement area for the lock, so again, we understand all of that. More the mess that was left both times and the anger over the difficult job. That is why we hire professionals and figure if they assess it to be too difficult or not possible then charge more or don't do it at all. Would not use this company again for future jobs.

It went fine. That was good. Their responsiveness and punctuality were good. He was very professional.

They were really good and were really easy to get along with. I did not have any problems with their quality.

A representative came to my home the day I called. The employee not only fixed the problem, but explained what needed to be done--he didn't even mind my looking over his shoulder. I thought the price was very reasonable. I would most surely call again if/when a problem needs solving regarding locks and/or keys.

My daughter locked her keys inside the car. I called Advanced Lock and Key at 8:20 am and they arrived at my house around 8:35 am. 15 minutes after I made the call. They had all the proper tools and had the door unlocked within 2-3 minutes. Very efficient professional service.

They were fantastic!! Came out the same day I called and rekeyed five doors in less than an hour. Professional, punctual, and affordable!! They guarantee their work too. Would use and refer them again!!

Contacted Sunday morning at 8:30 am and he came out the same day at no additional charge. Replaced 5 door knob locks and 4 deadbolts in about 45 minutes. Gave us as many keys as we wanted at no charge. Very pleased with prompt high quality service at very reasonable price.

This company provided a simple service of re-keying the doors for my home after purchase. They were punctual and did a good job.

I called Advance at the suggestion of a friend who had used them. Advanced has a mobile unit. THey come to your house. Their hours are very flexible. THey do have the technology and understand the process. They made a new smart key (and E key) for me. It takes about 25 minutes. They charged me $285. They have most keys in stock. Mine was obtained overnight.
