208 Moving Company was excellent for us the first time back in November of last year so we decided to hire them again when it was time to move into our rental house. Again everything was flawless and exceeded our expectations. Logan and Dan were excellent and very professional in every aspect of the work they performed. They carefully explained all of the process and began working. I will always recommend 208 Moving whenever I can. They will definitely be my choice if I need movers in the future.

We hired 208 Moving to unload our truck after moving from South Carolina to Boise, ID. The entire process was great. From scheduling to the actual movers. We had to reschedule once due to a delay in our travel plans. 208 Moving Company was very accommodating. Once the Sean and Bobby arrived they quickly introduced themselves and had us show them around in order to understand where everything needs to go. The then prepared the area by putting protection over entry doors and began work. They both were very professional, quick and extremely efficient. They listened well and we could not have been happier with their services. Thanks.

I couldn't be happier. They came on time, worked hard and got the job done. Logan, Dan and Doc all worked very hard and showed a lot of respect for me and my belongings. I'd definitely use these guys again. Great value because they worked so FAST. I couldn't believe how little time it took.

Needed short notice move and they had an opening. Never heard of them before. The person on the phone told me my move would require two guys. Three showed up, but one of them was in training and free of charge. He did great as did the whole crew. The only name on the ticket was John, and I can't remember the names of the other two. Only took them 3hr 12min of actual work. They took a 36 minute lunch and it was noted on the bill. Yes they keep time to the minute, no rounding up. Also, they don't charge you from the time they leave the office like most everyone else does. Your time doesn't start until they get to your house and that saves a lot of money. The guys are great, from the person on the phone to the guys that showed up. Professional but they were positive and had a good time. It seemed like they actually liked their job, which was great. I have had the opposite with other movers. I already told them that I will be calling them soon when I buy my next house. Would highly recommend this company.

Hired 208 Moving to move primary residence. Movers were prompt, courteous and exceeded all expectations. Not only would I use them again, but I would recommend them to anyone looking to move in the Treausre Valley!

These were some of the friendliest and most helpful movers I've worked with in Boise, and I've moved 5 times in the last 3 years! They were easy to correspond with via email to set up an appointment, gave me a confirmation call the day before to confirm time. 2 guys showed up - they were 10 minutes late but called me to let me know they were running a little late, so no big deal. They carefully took care of my items, were efficient with their time, and (best of all) seemed cheerful and did not complain about their work. Seriously, almost every mover I've worked with had guys who complained about their jobs and how hard it was! On this particular trip, we had to move a washer/dryer out of the basement of the old house, removing the hand railing in order to do so. They did a good job of removing and reinstalling the hand railing without complaint. There was one piece he couldn't install and he let me know this (rather than just leaving it on the step). And in the end, their pricing scheme was very reasonable and fair, which I was super happy about. They charged about the same as the previous movers, (except the previous ones didn't come with a truck and didn't work as efficiently), and took a credit card payment even. I would definitely recommend you use these movers and would do so again next time I move (hopefully, not soon).

We found this company through Angie’s List. They were available, worked hard, and their work ethic was very good. They did everything we needed done. They didn’t even charge us for their breaks. We did not have them pack, they just moved us. We had some odd pieces that needed moved and we appreciated that they knew how to handle them.

In a word, these folks are terrific They were quick to reply to my inquiry and schedule a convenient time for the moving. On move day, Charlee (leader) and Jerrod were punctual, friendly, hard-working, careful, efficient and patient with my changing directions. They surpassed all my expectations. I will definitely use them again, if the need arises.

Charlee and Bobby showed up and got to work right on time. They padded doors and corners to protect the home and worked extremely quickly. I have used other paid by the hour movers who "took their time", but this team moved really fast and exceeded my expectation. They were very helpful, offered several times to see if there was anything else they could do to help, and they were very courteous as well. I will use them again and highly recommend this company!

Fast, friendly and professional! My husband and I hired 208 Moving Company to move his heavy wood working equipment from our garage to a nearby storage unit. We thought this would be a 2 to 3 hour job. Dan, Matt and Bobby showed up and ended up taking all of the equipment as well as quite a few boxes we had packed for an upcoming move. They finished the job in 55 minutes! They were all great guys who were personable, hardworking and pleasant to interact with. Not having to pay for drive time is a HUGE plus and there truly are no hidden fees whatsoever. Our big move is coming up very soon and we will absolutely be using 208 Moving Company! Highly recommended!

This company is amazing. I called on a Tuesday to get an estimate. There was only an answering machine responding to my call, so I left a detailed message. Daniel Warns returned my call promptly, gave me a very reasonable quote, and offered to move this refrigerator that very same day. It worked out better for me to move it the next day, so we set up the move for early the following morning. The day of the move they called me with a courtesy call to let me know they were on the way. Daniel Warns and Matt Shelar arrived promptly and immediately began planning for the move. They covered the doors and doorjambs with protective quilted material to protect them. When they got the fridge to the door, they realized it was not going to fit through. So they carefully removed the front door to the house and part of the storm door. They also removed the refrigerator doors and all the drawers and shelves inside to make sure nothing was damaged in the move. This was a lot of work, but they went about this task with positive “can do” attitudes. Both young men were very courteous and professional. This all took more time than any of us had planned, but that did not matter. They wanted to do the job right. To finish up the move, they put everything back together exactly as it had come apart. There was absolutely no damage to anything. The price was fair and I will be using this company again.

We had a mis-communication about days but 208 Moving was very willing and able to accommodate us and get the move done for us the same day. Dan, Matt and Bobby showed up with a truck and moved our household of furniture and many, many boxes to our new home. The rental had stairs everywhere but no one complained and just kept moving stuff although they were thankful for our new home being single story. They allowed enough time for us to sort boxes and placed furniture where we wanted it. Everything was wrapped well and arrived in perfect shape. They needed to make 2 trips with the truck to move everything but had planned for that with the bid. Daniel came to our home to give us an estimate for the most efficient way to complete the move. I called 3 other movers and 208 Moving was the only mover to use 3 guys with the truck. Really made a difference in how quickly they could move the boxes and furniture and load the truck. We will definitely recommend them to anyone making a move. Great guys.

Super professional and hard-working. I don't think these guys stopped for a second. Everything was handled very well and contents arrived to the new location in excellent condition. They were very easy to work with. I would highly recommend them to anyone.

They guys were great. I have to go through different contractors before I found somebody that was able to help me in a very short notice. They were five stars. They were professional and quick. I couldn't recommend them more. You get what you pay for.

I used 208 for moving across town. I rented my own UHaul because I needed to store my stuff overnight. Both days, the crew was exactly on time and worked hard. The price was great and nothing was broken or damaged! Happy customer!

It took them about two-and-a-half hours. They were fantastic. They were flexible in scheduling to meet my needs. They were on time. When they take item from the truck into the apartment and then returning to the truck to get the next item, they literally run to the truck. After the first hour, they bill by the five minutes and I didn't feel like they were wasting our time or doodling at any point, they were really fast.

Professional, punctual, and efficient as we hoped for, but even better than we imagined. These movers go above and beyond. They were very careful with everything, managed to get our entire household into 1 truck trip(which I did not think would be possible) and placed everything exactly where we asked them to. They even moved some extremely heavy and awkward pieces of equipment downstairs and into a separate out building. They were a highly organized and efficient team.They were literally running from the house back out to the truck for the next load. Considering they charge by the hour we were extremely impressed with their energetic and enthusiastic approach. All three of the gentleman were pleasant, easy to talk with, and made our moving experience so much less stressful. Excellent service, excellent deal, we would recommend this business to anyone and everyone who is planning on moving. It was SO worth it!

208 Moving are awesome. They work very fast and are extremely careful with your property. They actually RUN to get the next item to be moved. I have used them two times so far and intend to use them each time I need help moving any item. Their prices are very fair and they don't charge a minimum. Fantastic company. Great job!
