Junior Structures JR'S Structures pole buildings

The garage itself turned out and we were pleased with the work.  There was some descrepency in the quote and actual price but we split the difference  and moved on.  Three months after the garage was complete  we received a bill from the concrete subcontractor. We called JR'S Structures and we were told that they didn't have any money and didn't agree with the bill from the concrete company.  We expalined that this was his responsibility to pay the bill and he said he would try.  Because he had not paid the bill  a lien was put on our property. In order to remove the lien on our property we had to pay the $2000 bill to St. Maries Concrete company.   Even though we had paid for the garage job in full,  it  was by law our responsibility to pay off the concrete contractor.  We preceded to take JR'S to small claims court  and  were awarded the judgement in the case.  We tried to work with the Phil Stephans company for small payments and no money was ever recouped.  We do not want any other honest people to ever have to go through this terrible experience.   This has been a three year ordeal and now we are forced to hire an attorney to pursue this deliquency of payment to us.   We thought we did our homework and we were taken advantage of by a dishonest business.  They also own Windriver Concrete so BEWARE!
