It want great; according to schedule, great workmanship and super cleanup. This is the second time we have used them and will continut to use and refer work to them

Great from start to finish. Amanda in the showroom is very knowledgable and personable. Salesman Nick and service guy Ben take great care of me. The installers Craig and Cody are outstanding! They know what they are doing. They were here today and were polite, prompt, efficient and inspired a great deal of confidence. These windows are not inexpensive, but the product and service are worth every dime.

The new windows are wonderful and the crew was excellent. Overall, a great experience.

Renewal by Anderson is the only door/window place we have ever used. The quality is the best.

It went very well. We had Craig & Cody come to our home yesterday and replace 4 windows for us. We couldn't be happier with the job they did and our windows are beautiful. They were on time, worked diligently and cleaned up after themselves when finished. They were very helpful to go over how to properly tip the windows in to clean them and answer all our questions. Renewal by Andersen sent out an excellent salesman, Joe, to show me the possibilities. I made my choices from several options with his guidance and advice, and, while it was as expensive as I expected, they offered a three year no-interest payment plan. Someone came out to measure, and yesterday a crew of three did a spectacular job of installation. Maybe all Andersen's crews are as skilled, but if you want to be certain of a quality installation, ask for Brian Thompson, Brian Thompson the elder (not so very). and young Brad. They know what they're doing; their work is art. Everything is precision-fitted, so perfect you couldn't find a gap big enough for a hair. That amazes me, considering the dilapidated state of the existing combination. They worked quietly and steadily, finished before three o'clock, and were pleasant to have around, very nice men. This installation was done for practical reasons, but what we are most marveling at is the beauty of it. The only thing that could improve it would be an ocean or mountain view through those lovely windows.

Cody & Craig showed up promptly at 8 AM and replaced 5 windows in our home. They were very professional and courteous. They did excellent work and answered all of our questions. We were very impressed with their professionalism and knowledge. Great job.

We like them. They were excellent. There were two workers. The workers were professional.

We have had them several times. They have replaced a sliding patio door, our double front door another and they put windows in the house probably 4 or 5 years ago. They are pretty efficient. They are clear on their products. They are non-negotiable on their pricing like I would like. We have gotten quality products when they have made their installations. Once they started the project, they finished with a good through. Their foreman was easy to work with. That is the reason we went back more than one time. We were comfortable with what they were doing. There was good follow up. They cleaned up well afterwards. They hauled away things that needed to be removed.

They have previously come out and done work for us. We were very happy with them. Their price was okay, reasonable, good. I don't remember what it cost, but it was fine. For quality, they're fine; it's good. They completely put new windows in an older house we had. We don't live there any more. They (windows) were much easier for me to handle. I like Andersen windows and their replacements are good, too. We were just in there yesterday.

It worked out good and they are going to do more work next week. I called them and someone came out and did the measurements then a week later someone else came out and measured again and quoted exact price and then called with the date they would be here.

I would recommend them to anybody. They have an awesome product, and they stand behind their work.

Installation crew arrived on agreed on date. Installed new windows with perfect workmanship in one day. Crew was very skilled, polite, very careful to not make any messes and cleaned up perfectly at the end of the day. As a construction engineer with over 35 years of experience, I rate this product and installation crew A+. Overall exceeded my expectations with the installation. The Andersen Renewal windows work perfectly and the choices of types of glass were a huge plus.

These people were the most professional and courteous group of people. They kept us up to date on our order (which was a special order) and did the install in one day. I would hire them again , without hesitation!

Overall, they did an excellent job! They were professional, responsive, and did what was expected. One of the larger living room windows needed the outside aluminum trim redone which they did without issue.

Work was completed timely and professionally. Window quality and installation were both top notch. The price is a little higher than others but the quality and professional installation still make it a superior value.

In June 2014, our home suffered damage from a tornado in which several windows were broken. We worked with the Renewal by Andersen franchise in West Des Moines, Iowa to order new windows for our entire house including a large bay window. On the day that our bay window was scheduled to be installed, the installer informed us that the window had been measured incorrectly and was 1.5" too big for the window opening. Since our house has a brick exterior, the installer decided to cut our interior wall to get the window to fit. This process also included removing the structural window header and replacing it with a new one in order to make the window's rough opening larger. During a spring thunderstorm, we were shocked to see water had leaked in around the window and was puddled on the seat of our bay window. The franchise was quick to blame our roof or gutters, but those were also brand new and replaced after the tornado as well. On a second service call, they were able to replicate the leak with a hose and water, told us that there was a manufacturing defect, applied some caulk to a small area, and told us it was fixed. We also pointed out that the center sash was loose - we could push it one-quarter of an inch with our finger and it rocked back and forth in the frame. Every time a door opened in the house, the window shook because it was so loose. The sales/service individual told us that this was the design of the window and it was intended to have plenty of give for the wind. During another storm, the rain came in again and we noticed leaks from a new area of our bay window. We again had water pooling on the seat of the bay window, but now we also had water dripping down from the top of the center sash. Renewal by Andersen ordered a new sash. We made an appointment for the replacement, they arrived at our house, opened the box, and saw that the window was damaged and; therefore, could not be installed. They ordered another window, we made an appointment for the replacement (we asked that they check the new window for damage prior to setting our appointment), and we stayed home for the installation. They called us 20 minutes prior to their scheduled arrival to tell us that the window was actually broken. They ordered another window and it was finally installed a few weeks later. Much to our surprise, after another rain storm, we discovered yet more water leaking in and pooling on the seat of our bay window. Now, the water was also seeping inside the wood of the seat causing the wood to bubble up and be irreparably damaged. This was immediately reported to Renewal by Andersen. No one came to look at the window, and again they ordered a new sash, telling us that this was a new design and would fix our problems. When this sash was removed to install a third sash, there was considerable water pooled at the bottom of the frame and dripping off the window sash. By this point, we had three different sashes in our new bay window and do not know if the leaking problems have been solved. Our next concern was the water damage and the bubbled wood on the wood seat of the bay window. A painter from Renewal by Andersen attempted to sand and paint the damaged area. After two days of work, the bubbles in the wood remained, and it was obvious the damage couldn't be fixed. Due to the repeated leaking and water damage to the bay window, we asked a new contractor to remove this window and install a new one for us. Upon removal of the bay window, we discovered that the installer for Renewal by Andersen had cut into the new header that he had installed, putting our home at risk for significant structural damage. Instead of fixing the damaged header beam, the installer for Renewal by Andersen installed the bay window and covered up the damage to the header. Due to the improper installation of the header, we were told that the window header no longer met structural building code. We are discouraged and disappointed by the actions of Renewal by Andersen, the owner, and his installers. This company cut open our interior wall, removed an existing header and installed a new one without giving us prior notice. They failed to appropriately diagnose and fix a leaking window before it caused major water damage to a costly window unit. They installed a structural header that was cut, could be moved by hand, and did not meet structural code. This ordeal has lasted for over two years. It has caused us to be away from work for a significant amount of time and caused additional, drawn-out stress after an already stressful storm damage and recovery experience.
