I didn’t end up using them because we couldn’t get it approved from the city. They were fantastic with my experience with them. He was really nice and followed up with the city we just couldn’t get it approved.

It turned out very well. The sub-contractors that they used were really creative, knowledgeable, and great. They got the job done in about 2 months. The job went as planned and we were very happy with the quality of work. They did a great job of making it look like part of the house.

Adam was very responsive from our initial inquiry call through the end of the job. His price provided a great value compared to other quotes. The job was done on time, with high quality including clean-up of job site. We were very pleased with the outcome.

I was given an estimate that I agreed to, and a date he would start the job. We shook hands and off he went. When the day arrived to start the job they were a no show and did not call. I waited another day, then called Adam. I was given another start day, and again they were a no show, no phone call. I called again and was told their concrete guy would call me to set up another time. He called and said they would be there in 2 days. No show and no phone call again. I called Adam again and he said he would get on the concrete guy and have him call me back. Can you hear the crickets chirping? That's the sound of my phone not ringing. I finally gave up and never heard from them again.

Adam listened carefully to the description of my project and promptly provided a detailed estimate. Mike and his crew did excellent work from start to finish. The room addition included a footer and cement floor, interior and exterior walls, insulation, drywall installation and finishing, installation of a window, two doors, and exterior wood siding. Very happy with the quality of workmanship throughout. I would definitely ask Premier Construction to come back again for our next home improvement project.

Premier Construction Services we were supposed to hear back from them and never did. Around 3 days after I called they came out. They gave my wife a number that they could probably get a round and that they would get back to us with a final number and some ideas. I wasn't there, but my wife said they were very nice and they came up with ideas and stuff for doing it. It is just that they never came back with the number and when they could start doing it. They were very nice to my wife and gave more ideas. After they didn't get back with us I will probably not use them in the future.

Premier Construction turned our former computer lab into our brand new bookstore/c-store in one of our residence halls. The owner, Adam, was great to work with and easy to communicate with as well. His workers did a great job with ensuring proper dust barriers were in place and cleaning up daily. We were on a deadline with the project, needing to be open by homecoming and Premier was a week ahead of deadline. The quality of the work is some of the best we have had on campus, all of the staff, students, and administration is very pleased with the finished product. AIB will definitely hire Premier Constuction for another remodel project. We are actually planning a large remodel of the Administration Building and Premier Construction will be the first to receive a print for that remodel.

I called Adam to get a quote from Premier Construction for our custom garage work. Adam was able to meet the next day and showed up exactly on time. I had been getting quotes from other builders as well. Adam was able to show he was very knowledgeable of building and doing custom work. We talked with Adam and he made sure he understood what it was we wanted to do. He was able to give suggestions and alternatives that helped us refine exactly what we wanted and how to do it. With all the custom work, other builders wanted 3-4 weeks to return with a bid. Adam was able to determine an estimate for the project (a rough estimate in a couple of days) and an refined estimate a couple of days after that when we added and made a few changes. Once we signed the contract (in the morning before work), Adam wasted no time in getting started on the project (deliveries showing up that day before lunch). A crew was there the next day working. Demolition of the existing 3rd car garage went quickly. A temporary wall was constructed to keep the remaining part of the garage enclosed. Throughout the process I was able to talk to Adam and get a status on the crews, materials and any overage estimates (I was able to make additional changes to the initial project - larger garage door, much more additional lighting and electrical work.). Adam's crews were able to work around my schedule when they needed for me to be home (sometimes they worked after normal hours or came early if that worked). While the framing crew was waiting for the foundation work to be completed by the concrete crews, they were able to build out the addional 16x16 section on the deck, so there was not time wasted by one crew waiting on the other. Unlike other contractors I've used in the past, whenever I needed to get in touch with Adam, he always answered his phone. If he was in a position where he was not able to talk he would let me know when he would get back to me and called back when he said he would. I am very happy with the final result. I have had people say that you couldn't tell there was an addition made (which is the point of having experienced professionals doing the work so it blends in). The siding and rock work was put on and matched exacly with the existing house. We have had many compliments on the deck addition as well. I have referred Adam and Premier Constriction to others as well, including one of the Vice Presidents where I work who also used Adam's company to work on their home. I will definitely use Adam and Premier Construction in the future.

well i sent Adam a email about 2 weeks ago and he NEVER responed at all. i should have left it there... but i called him and we set up an appointment for him to be here monday at 3pm. well at about 2:30 on monday he called said he would be a 1/2 hour late. he said his wife had him applying epoxy to his basement and he was running long on time on it. i said sure no problem. well 4 pm arrived.... he was not here and did not call. so i called him.... now i live on the east side of des moines. well he was in johnston to do a walk through for a guy that had spent a lot of money with him putting on a addation to his house. needless to say i was rather upset that he blew me off... so he said he could be here by 5:20. i told him when he was done with the walk though to call me. now i figured he would have called me by 5pm than. well it was after 6pm before he called me back (i had left around 6pm so he left a VERY lame message on my machine!!!). now my take of this was i was "not important enough for him to waist his time on me". i guess he figured i was not going to be a BIG spender with him so i was not worth his time. so my advise would be don't waist your time calling this guy if you live on the east side... i guess he thinks my money is not as green as people on the west side of town... now how LAME is that?!?! >.< this was NOT a "miscommunication" and it was NOT a issue of being able to "connect". Adam simply blew me off.. it is that simple.. and it was VERY LAME! he could have called me, and decided not to cause the other client was simply MORE important to him than i was! how was it that Adam put that?.... "a large add on and Adam has a good rapport with him". aka this guy is more important than you and i will go there and blow you off. like i said LAME! just a great way to run a business too.... NOT!

It went smoothly and professionally.

I had so many quotes back at that time, but I will say that, of all the people that I talked to, I thought they seemed the most competent. It was a free quote. I really liked the guy and how they presented it. They weren’t real pushy on trying to sell me extra features and stuff. They were just pretty upfront about what it was going to cost me. After getting several quotes, I will say they were probably one of the better ones, and I liked his ideas. I got a quote from another company and they were more interested in pushing me other features. They kept telling me about adding this feature or that feature but I said no since I had a set amount of money and I couldn’t go crazy. I just liked the fact that he was very straightforward about what I could or couldn’t do for my money and stuff. So, I liked them a lot. Actually, he would have been the one that I would have tested if I had enough money.

I received 5 bids for my basement finish project. Premier Construction was not only the best price, they had the best ideas and designs as well. I am a musician and wanted a music theme and Adam sat down with me and my wife and helped us design the entire project. We purchased a grand piano and wanted to continue the theme, so we designed the bar to mirror the grand piano. Had custom lighting installed over the piano and over the piano bar area. We also had a half bath installed with custom finishes. Premier Construction was a joy to work with and we have had numerous complements on our basement. Adam, the owner, was not only our contractor , he has become a good friend. We definitely recommend Premier Construction for any home remodeling project.

We were referred to Adam by our daughter. We just purchased a home and were having work done prior to moving in. We knew we wanted a sun room but we were not sure about the details. Adam met with us and walked us through all the different styles of sun rooms his company has completed and gave us some great ideas. His website was really helpful in viewing some of their past projects. We were on a strict deadline to get moved into the house and Adam met and exceeded all deadlines, his crew completed the entire sun room in less than a week! Adam recommended a stone accent wall in the room to match the rest of the house and we love it! We are very pleased with our sun room and Adam was great to work with - he knows his products and helped us with design as well. We definitely recommend Premier Construction as a contractor.

From the moment we met Adam with Premier Construction we knew he was going to be our contractor. He was very knowledgeable about what we wanted to do to our home and gave us some great money saving ideas. Working with Premier was a joy, all of the guys were very polite and always cleaned up after themselves at the end of the day. Adam was always available to be reached to answer any questions and was great in communicating about our project. We love our new space and use it more than our original living room. Premier Construction comes highly recommended from me and my wife.

This was a two day process and worked out very well. I called Premier to get a quote, Adam came out gave me an immediate.estimate and said he would be able to do the work by Friday. This was Monday. I said to schedule it and that I would be off on Wednesday. As it worked out I took off work on Thursday and the work was completed on the outside on Thursday. The Electrical was completed Thursday evening and inside work was completed Friday .

I hired Premier Construction to build my custom dream home. I could not ask for a better outcome and overall building experience. Adam and his team guided me every step of the way with great feedback, product knowledge, recommendations, and ideas. I could not be happier with the final product! Not only does my home exceed my expectations with quality, but also with Premier?s one-of-a ?kind touches throughout the house. Fantastic experience...Adam offered suggestions that altered the original plan that made sense and saved us money. His crew keep a very clean work area and picked up every day before they left. If it weren't for the obvious progress we saw on the building, you were would never know anyone was there. The end result was exactly what we wanted and were expecting.

They worked with me which was really nice as I was able to save some money by doing the removal of the old deck suface and installing the insullated floor myself as well as doing the insullation on the room myself. Then I built the new deck off the back of it when they were all done. The guys that did the work were very professional and always willing to work with me on things if I needed something extra done or wanted to change something.
