I found Premier Construction through an internet search. I called them and Adam was out to meet me at my place that week. I think we connected on a Wednesday and I already had his quote by Friday. I tried getting 3 other quotes but I never heard back from one of the 3 contractors I contacted. After meeting with Adam, there was no doubt I was hiring Premier. He came in with more ideas and enthusiasm than the other contractor I met with. I thought after he left that I would not be able to afford his services, but to my surprise, Premier's quote came back slightly lower than the other quote I received. After I hired them, I was put in contact with Mike with Premier. He was very involved in keeping me informed of the progress and keeping me updated on the subcontractors that would be coming in and out. I am very pleased with the finished product. Premier's entire team was great to work with and I highly recommend them to anyone looking for a construction project.

We hired Premier Construction 3 years ago to add a sun room onto our home as well as new roof and siding. We really enjoy working with Adam and his team. He is always available when we have questions and makes us feel comfortable with the construction process. We had Adam come give us a quote for our basement, and he gave us a detailed estimate within 2 days. After we hired Premier, Adam connected us with Mike, their project manager. Mike is a go getter and really gets the job done. Just like Adam, he is always available for us and keeps us informed of the progress. I think they were through all the city inspections and hanging drywall within 10 days of starting. All of the subcontractors on the job were very respectful and great to work with. My wife and I would highly recommend Premier for any construction projects, as we have had a two great experiences with them. They play close attention to detail and go to every length to ensure a happy customer. We are hoping we do not have to keep working on our home, but if we do we will for sure hire Premier again!

They are fine, nice and accommodating. They are not done yet. It is a good experience overall.

They did an excellent job with a lot of attention to detail. I worked closely with Adam and Mike who got the job done as promised. The project was very big as we completely remodeled the existing kitchen and added custom cabinets /counter tops + remodeled the 2nd bathroom + changes all the trims in the house to white trim instead of the oak wood. My master bath look like the hyatt hotel , the good part is ADAM and MIKE have a lot of design ideas and we open to a lot of changes from time to time . Below are some of the good things i have see with this company 1. Honesty ( i have been ripped off multiple times by other contractors in the past so honesty is very important to me , i would trust them and not be worried if your job will be completed or not) 2. They don't mess around and are usually on time with their deadlines (if there is a problem they will let you know ahead of time). 3. Their pricing is very reasonable, i have done a lot of comparisons and other companies are no where close to their price while maintaining quality I wish them good luck and thanks for getting my house completed . I LOVE IT .

We contracted with Premier Construction in early February to break ground on a 20x20 living room addition off our home. Working with Adam was about as easy as it gets. I contacted him after reading positive reviews on this site and we met for an estimate within 1 working day. It took all other contractors nearly a week to respond to me. After walking through a few different idea scenarios, Adam worked up a quote based off of what we wanted and kept it exactly in the budget number we needed it to be. We had set aside $40K for the project but really didn't want to get all the way to that number (more like $35K-$38K) to leave room for the unforeseen costs that are always involved with projects of this nature. We signed the agreement in mid-February 2014 and Adam and his crew broke ground the first week of March as promised. Overall, the build process was very smooth. The only hiccups to the 5 week timeline were changes that we wanted made to the original plan that extended the process further (upgraded doors/windows and heating a/c unit). If we ever had any questions with the project, Adam would always return phone calls or texts within the hour. I never felt out of the loop or out of touch with him throughout the process. For a Type A personality like myself, that was probably the most important thing to me. After the 5 week timeline we had a great new room that we're extremely happy with. We also came in exactly at budget. We are even having Adam come back to build a new deck off the addition this summer. Overall, we are extremely pleased with the experience and would recommend Premier Construction to any family or friends in need of general contracting.

I was not impressed with the workers sent to complete my job. The cement folks poured my garage slab crooked and didn't fix it, the framers framed my garage crooked as they attempted to do so on an already crooked slab, they didn't saw off the excess cement that was showing after on three sides after the garage was finished. They took out my chain link fence, and informed me afterward that it wasn't their responsibility to replace it, so I had to spend $438.00 to have American Fence put the fence back in. They didn't leave the key to my new service door and still haven't come back to either give it to me or replace the lock with one that has a key and give me the key. They left a LOT of excess material from my job laying in my yard after the garage was completed. The workers also left a mess in the garage with nails laying everywhere I wanted to park my car upon completion. I had to sweep out the garage several times so I could park my car in the garage without fear of a nail piercing my tires. The workers never cleaned up after themselves, leaving cups, cans, cigarette butts, etc. laying around in and outside my new garage. They brought in fill dirt to fill in around my new driveway and on three sides of my garage, but didn't fill in any dirt around the back of my new garage. The cement workers were drinking beer on my job while pouring the cement for my new slab. I just wasn't as pleased with the workmanship as I had thought I would have been. The garage is built and looks nice, but I still think the cost was too high for all the errors that were committed during the construction period.

It went fine. They were fast and responsive. We didn't get any other bids.

I wrote a review on this contractor a few months ago that was unjust and unfair the reasons are not important what is important that I right a wrong. We had a good experience with Adam and his team. We had some minor issues that were resolved to our satisfaction.

I truly cant say enough good things about my experience with Premiere. They took on my massive job and brought it to the next level. Their work ethic & final product far surpassed my expectations. Adam and his team really are happy to do anything and everything to do the job right and leave the customer satisfied. There was no cutting corners. And also - no bad attitudes when I changed my mind a few times :) Our timeline to get the project done was insanely tight, but there was nothing the team couldn't handle. Every single worker was polite, professional, friendly and fun!

After coming over to look at the work that needed to be done,I never heard from him again.I called him last night (3/27/14) left a message asking him about the estimate and to return my call, but never heard back.I wish people could be be more honest.I am tired of contacting these contractors and never hearing back from them, I mean why bother to come out in the first place?What has happened to good manners anyway? You call someone with the best intentions, but evidentely wasting someones time is not a big deal anymore.

In addition he kept pulling his guys off my job to go and sent them to other job sites. A job that he said should take 5 to 6 weeks took 8 months. I did have to move in but only stayed in the bed room. But he used that to blame me for the length of time he took. The other frustrating thing was that he did not have a project manager and did not follow up on the subs work and some decisions were made without any consultation with me and some things were just wrong which added to the cost. He was always looking for the cheap, easy way out on any separate piece of the job. This caused multiple discussions! There is work in my home that I am not happy with and I am now left to take care of it myself. All my stuff was stored in the basement and garage. In the garage they just tossed items in and didn't show any concern for what was already stored there, did not make good use of the space that was available. I have a rather expensive bike and they left it outside where anyone could just walk off with it and also exposed it unnecessarily to weather. At this time I cannot get into my garage without crawling over stored items. His workers had no respect for my property. There were cigarette butts and all kinds of drink bottles on the property. I've saved the best for last. It is common to make progress payments as the work proceeds. He provided a statement that I did not find acceptable nor did my attorney. On the last payment, I understood the amount and I reminded him of $1500 that should be removed. When he came to pick up the check the price had gone up to the price before the $1500 was removed. He said more bills had come in. I don't believe that. While Adam does have some endearing qualities they are outweighed but the work that was done. He also treated me as if I didn't know anything and he was wrong.

Had problems with cork flooring installation they chipped parts of the floor. Dry wallets very messy and sloppy. And several other items went wrong.

Adam Sieren is wonderful and great to work with. Although there were a few bumps along the way (as is usual in any construction project) Adam was positive and dealt with everything that came along. From tree roots that were more extensive, to dinged garage doors, Adam came through in flying colors. He is a busy man, but he made sure we were pleased with the final project. We'd use him again in a minute.

In December, I contacted Premier Construction Services after reading a number of reviews on Angie's List. I did my homework, regarding other types of sunroom options. I started the process last summer at the Iowa State Fair. I decided to build a traditional wood frame addition. The prefabbed aluminum/vinyl rooms are reasonably good quality, but over a period of time they develop issues, more expensive and without the features and benefits of a wood frame room. I know, because that's what I had to replace. I met with Adam Sieren the first part of January. We discussed what I wanted in a 4 season sunroom, features and benefits, etc. Adam is very engaging, enthusiastic and passionate about his company, staff and projects. We discussed the details of my project and I received an estimate within 2 days. I agreed to his proposal and we decided to start the project immediately. The room is 16X 20 with 16 ft high ceilings at the peak. I also received estimates from two other builders that had high recommendations on Angie's List. They started the following week with the demolition of the existing sunroom. That was a fairly extensive project, but they completed it in two days. Tim and Matt were the lead carpenters on my project. They do the majority of the work, even beyond the carpentry aspects. Adam stopped by each day to review their progress, and stayed in touch via the cell phone throughout the day. Mike (Project Manager) was also involved periodically. We all know the cold weather we experienced in January/February. Tim and Matt were on the job most of the time, regardless of some of the inclement weather days. To the point, I had to tell them to go home some days, especially in the late afternoon. These guys are very good at what they do and dedicated. My project under normal weather conditions, realistically would have taken 4 weeks. It took about 6 weeks, because of the weather. I had some features that took additional time such as a one wall that was all car sided and 16 feet high. The carpentry detail was excellent. I have build and remodeled a number of my homes over years. Some good some bad experiences. I know what to expect. Working with Adam was one of my better construction project experiences. The addition is beautiful and exceeded all of my expectations. Adam is a professional, honest, trustworthy and offers an excellent value for his customers. You won't be disappointed. Update: My project was finally completed and overall it was a good experience. The quality of the work in general was above average. The painting/staining was on the "iffy"side. My only real complaint is the clean-up after the completion of the project. My experience in working with quite a few builders is they want a 1/3 at the start of the project, a 1/3 in the middle and a 1/3 at and the end. I would suggest that you pay the last 1/3 when everything is completed to your complete satisfaction. I knew that, but I didn't take my own advise. Contractors move on to the next project, and the last bit of the details get left undone. Cleaning up the construction site is not something that's a priority for a lot of contractors. It's important to me and my neighbors. Premier was average at best on this issue. I've had to chase them to complete the clean-up process, and because, I paid my last 1/3 I'm at the back of the bus with no leverage. Adam/Mike are well meaning folks, just too busy. This weekend, I will do it myself, and put the trash on my driveway and ask them to pick it up with a timeline that I set. If it's not picked up, I will call the haul-a-way guy and send the invoice to Adam.

I called Premier after a referral from my buddy that had an amazing bar built by them. I had redone most of our bathroom except for our shower and it was needing replacement badly. Adam had Mike work on this project and he did an excellent job. The first day he had all the demo work done. Our only issue was the great amount of dust from the old Sheetrock that filled our house and actually clogged our furnace filter. With a new born baby we had to make sure to clean up all the dust daily. Every day there was more progress and the work stayed right on track. Took 5 days to have a new tiled shower that looks 100% better and will help with the resale value of our home. Thank you guys for the awesome job and I will keep referring you and call you for my next project.

Adam, owner off the company was very helpful in helping us decide what to include and leave out of the project as well as the layout. Hehas great contractors that we enjoyed working with.

Project went very well and we no longer seem to have any water coming in the house. :) Adam responded quickly to our initial call and came out to review the project completed and several other items on our wishlist. Adam listened to the entire list and rightfully assessed that we would not be able to get it all done at once. He appropriately recommended that we start with roof and the replacement of a bay window that also leaks. Once the initial estimate was provided we finalized financing and approximately 3 weeks after the estimate was provided, we let him know we were ready to go. Shortly after that he had us scheduled for the work to begin. Adam originally thought it would be about a 3 day job, but a couple challenges resulted in about 4 days to complete the actual work with cleanup finalized after a couple weather delays (lots of rain that didn't come in through the roof/skylight!). We are now working to get the bay window replaced before winter. We are using Adam and Premier Construction for this project as well. What seemed like a simple project to complete initially has become a bit more complicated, but Adam was able to explain how the complication will be overcome and I look forward to having this work done in the next week hopefully. I would recommend that you give Adam a call and shot at any work you are planning to have done. Will update my review once the bay window work is completed.

They were very timely...didn't take very long from the beginning of the project to the final walk through. Very professional. We loved working with all the subs and appreciated the honesty when it came to upgrades. Adam, Mike and the team are wonderful to work with! The only concern throughout the project was keeping the work area clean at the end of each day.

I learned about Premier Construction, and it's owner, Adam Sieren from Angie's List. I called Adam to see if he could give us a bid and some advice on our project. He came over the very next day and met with us. Adam is an upbeat, professional person and knows his business. He has TONS of great ideas, as well as tips and tricks to make your space look and feel high-end, even when working with a tight budget. I really liked the suggestions he made, and implemented many of them into our design. Adam has an excellent finishing and framing team. Tim is an excellent carpenter and Jack of all trades! All of Adam's employees are super friendly and helpful. They aim to make the Homeowner happy! The Sub-contractors are all top notch as well. Adam addresses any concerns or questions promptly, and returns his calls and/or e-mails quickly. We are very happy with our new space and will definitely use Premier Construction in the future.

In February 2013 we hired Premier Construction to undertake an extensive building project which included an addition to our house that doubled the existing square footage, a remodel of the existing space, and the construction of a detached garage. Also included in the project were a rear deck, a front covered deck, and a patio just off the newly constructed walk-out. Our building project with Adam and Premier Construction was definitely a collaborative effort and the design options Adam presented to us always reflected our wishes and preferences. As the project advanced, there were change orders at our request which Adam took in stride with his characteristic can-do cheerfulness. Adam never sees a problem that can't be fixed or a challenge that can't be met and he possesses a great aesthetic sense as well as an impressive amount of knowledge and experience in the construction business. The end result, which we are now enjoying, is a seamlessly executed addition which has all the features we most desired. The quality of workmanship in the addition surpasses that of the original dwelling, a credit to Adam and the first-rate team of employees and sub-contractors associated with Premier Construction. We have no plans for further improvements...but...if we ever decide to build a party shed, we'll call Adam.

We previously hired Premier Construction for a sun room addition to our home a couple years ago. We needed some additional space with the addition of some grand kids, so we called Premier and had them come out and give us a quote on finishing our lower level. Adam is always so easy to communicate with and we enjoy all of his team. They completed our basement in 6 weeks start to finish and we are very pleased with the finished product. It is now a great place for the grand kids to run around and play. We definitely recommend Premier Construction for any home improvement projects, as this is the 2nd time around they have done excellent work on our home.

From the initial bid process through to the completion of the work, the owner, Adam Sieren, was a consummate professional and communicated with us in a way that left us feeling secure and well-informed about the process and the investment we were making in our home. Adam was especially good at presenting us with options for various features of the home - at no point did we feel pressured, but we were appreciative of the time he invested to talk us through details that helped give our space a more custom feel while still remaining within the budget that we initially gave him for the project. Given the size and scope of the project, we were completely impressed with the speed and high quality of the work that was completed. We would highly recommend Premier Construction for a project of any size, and we are planning on using them again in the Spring for some additional home improvements.

They followed up and let me know the cost. I just decided to not spend that much money on siding. They were professional. I will consider calling them back.

The job turned out really good. They gave me an estimate and it turned out higher once the job was complete and I was unhappy about the final cost. I feel they didn’t do everything they could have to help me get the insurance claim paid. They did a very good job, and it all looks well and the roof doesn’t leak. I may consider to use them again depending on what I need done.

I didn’t use them because I got a personal referral form someone else. I wouldn’t consider using them for any future estimates. It was a good experience.
