Numerous issues- hard to know where to begin so this quite lengthy. Overal Quality is ok and when my blinds were put in by a different company they said they did a decent job as far as installing the windows evenly. Cancelled the first appointment to install windows the morning of. (I had adjusted my work schedule to make sure I had an extra day in case they didn't finish on time). When they came the next time, they didn't finish in 1 day as they expected. When they came to finish the next Sat. Showed up 2 hrs later than expected. They called at 9:45 to say they would be there in the next half hour (been waiting since 9). About 11 or 11:30 they showed up. Numerous times they said I didn't need to be home when they did windows and door but I was not comfortable with that. 3 windows manufactured wrong- came without grids. They did bring this to my attention. 2 windows manufactured wrong and opened the wrong way which they did not point out and I believe hoped I wouldn't notice. 2 weeks later- New windows come- instead of window sashes with grids only the glass pain with grids was ordered. So much for manufact. sealed windows. Luckily the installation man stopped trying and was afraid the glass would break. Windows that opened the wrong direction were manufactured the wrong direction again!! (Windows came in on a Wed and they didn't try to install til Sat.- IA Lumber never checked if they were correct before they came out). Obviously not happy I wasted another Sat. am). By mid June (after starting in April) I finally had the correct windows. (Moving furniture that many times was not fun). As for siding: Asked 6-7 times for shutters to be removed and the mantal/door pieces delivered so I could get them to the painter. They never did. The painter was set to come and then they determine the pieces were not in stock. In the end they rushed the painter and some pieces had not cured completely when they installed which I tried to avoid. Numerous times they asked for my garage code which I wasn't comfortable giving out. Some spots on the house were rotted (esp around windows) and they wanted to cover over vs replacing the rotted board first. Had many discussions and issues with that. Gutters were drained to wrong spot in a couple locations though they said it was done the same. I would have liked longer spouts with the ability to put them up for mowing but was never contacted on options before the work was done. The gutter company was excellent about coming and fixing but not everything was addressed as I would have liked. Billing and Invoice practices are questionable. Wouldn't wait 2 days for me to drop off when I had a day off when the siding was complete. I never had chance to do final inspection in daylight. The salesman came at 5:45am the next morning to get check before I went to work (<24 hrs after completion). I didn't even know they were completing the job that day. They wouldn't issue invoice or receipt of payment for the siding part since windows weren't done Warranty info for siding and windows took another 3-4 weeks (July 2013, we started all this in April) after everything was done. 2 weeks after windows were paid I finally get the final invoice that shows paid. Never a bill or statement of charges issues. Patio door lock has broken twice. Waited a week and wrong part ordered. Fairly decent job cleaning up but I did find some cigarette butts and where they parked their van damaged/shifted a large landscaping timber. There is more stuff (believe it or not)- but this is the major stuff. Would not recommend at all.

Installed a new patio door in April 2013. A few months ago the lock on it broke. They were fairly prompt in coming to fix it. I never felt the real issue was figured out but they got it working again. No surprise lock broke again. They did order the new lock right away but it took over a week to come in. I had to call them to find out status if it was here and when it was getting fixed. I felt this should have been ordered and shipped much faster especially since this was the 2nd time it had broke and the door is <6 months old. When they came today, only the handles were ordered, not the locking mechanism in the door. They have not followed up further today on what they will do to replace/repair.

They messed up the initial schedule. They came the next day and got it all finished in two days. The initial schedule was for two and a half days. Since, they messed up the first day they brought in another worker and got the work finished. They did not come back and review the work to see if any extra corking needed to be done. They used a clear cork to color the cork and now I cannot paint over it. I have brown windows and would have loved to use a brown ring around it. They smoked in my garage which was not alright. I thought that either their salesman or their worker would come and inspect everything. There were very small gaps in the corking too. I was very surprised that they did not do a follow up. However, it was a minor thing and it was not a big deal. I was just hoping that they followed up to make sure that everything was ok and fixed the problems that needed to be fixed. It was a minor thing but since I had paid so much money, I would expect them to follow up on the work. The other thing was that they wanted me to sign up that the work was done to my liking without looking through every window in every room and getting it inspected. But I guess that they would get paid for the work done and that it was not necessary to look through the quality or make sure that everything was ok. I could call them up and talk to them I guess which I have not yet done as it has been a couple of weeks.

It was very good because the estimate was fair and windows came in in a timely matter. The installers let me know that I didn't have to be home because it was all outside work, which was convenient. They did a very nice job.
