We decided to use them because they had weekend hours. It was good service but the cost was way too much. We would probably not use them in future because it was too expensive.

We discussed the benefits of different models and costs with no pressure. Once I decided , the installation was prompt and smooth. Every one was friendly and professional. They cleaned up after they were done and very respectful. I also was pleased with plumbing work they did for me. My problems were easily and cheaply fixed, since I had no plumbing knowlege they could have easily over charged me. I will call them again for service and problems.

He thought he fixed the A/C by resetting the breaker, but after he left the A/C went out again. We called in an A/c company who diagnosed the real trouble and it was repaired by a competitor. I think this company is a plumbing company that is trying to get into the A/C business. They may do plumbing well, but the technician I got was not able to diagnose the trouble properly and fix it right the first time. i will not use again for A/C

It always went well. I paid them $12.19/month and they came out twice a year. I received 20% off any parts I needed.

They gave me a reasonable estimate on the water hammer problems, came back again promptly after obtaining the parts to be installed, and I'm satisfied with the results of their work. They told me the installation wouldn't necessarily eliminate all sound, but that it should at least diminish the sound--and it did. On the garbage disposal, the best thing their rep did was point out that it might still be under warranty, suggested I confirm that and call the manufacturer, but gave me an estimate on replacement if that proved necessary. I called the manufacturer, confirmed that the unit was still under warranty, and was able to get it working again based on advice given by the manufacturer over the phone. I appreciate it when a service company points out other potentially less costly ways to deal with a problem even when the alternatives don't involve using their services. I had a very good experience with Holt and they're going to be "my plumber" from now on.

Arrived quickly. I had described our situation as somewhat of an emergency as we had to shut off water to the whole house due to the sill c*** rupturing. Service was performed quickly and professionally. They operate on a flat fee charge basis. Thety have a two year warranty on any service they provide.

All service providers were professional, courteous, and there were no problems with their work. The reason I stopped using Holt is because after a maintenance check on my heater the serviceman often would recommend something to increase the efficiency of my heater but often was a $400.00 or more project. I called other companies and they did not think what they were recommending was necessary and sometimes that it would not do what they said it would do, at least as I explained it. I believe they were sincere in what they were suggesting but it became annoying to me. It may be like when you get different opinions from different doctors. I just didn't know what to believe. So I cancelled my service contract with Holt. I have no complaints with the work that they did for me over the 3 or 4 (maybe more) years I had a service contract with them.

Called on Monday to get an estimate on a tankless hot water heater and moving a gas line for the stove, set up an appointment for noon which they were not able to make, so reset appointment for Tuesday morning, they arrived early. We got an immediate estimate, agreed on the heater and the service and set an appointment for install on Friday. Later Tuesday afternoon received a call and they asked if we wanted to complete the install on Wednesday - we said sure! Technicians were here promptly in the morning and got started right away, they were very professional and seemed very knowledgeable. They had to run another gas line from the meter to the basement to allow for a dedicated gas line for the hot water heater. They ran it outside the house hiding it as well as possible at the bottom of the siding and then through the section of the unfinished basement ceiling - can barely tell it is there. They mounted the water heater on the wall. They then moved the gas line for the stove, which was more difficult because they had to go over the duct work and work in a confined space. They capped the old line off like we asked, below the floor line and ran a new line to the new location). They then cleaned up the work area - probably better than it was before they started, which is greatly appreciated Overall the team was here for over 8 hours to get the job done, but my husband and I were very impressed with all they got done, it was a much larger job than we could have done on our own.

Repair was fast and efficient. They even were able to make it prior to stated time when I called.

I have used Holt for other work and the service is always awesome. I received evening service and received a discount because I belong to their "club". The response time was good for a last minute call in the evening. I was provided an estimate for the work and other services. The work was completed in a timely fashion. The other work I received an estimate for was not completed, but I was told that since I had the estimate completed if I chose to do it later I would not be charged the service call fee. I will continue to use Holt for all my HVAC and plumbing needs.

Serviceman came out and tried to stop a running toilet. Gave us a bill for $250+ and gave us a 2 year warranty on their service. After he left same problem occurred. They came out 4 or 5 times and still issue was not resolved. One time they came out and the serviceman didn't even have the part needed to try to fix the issue. Wasted trip on his part. On their last visit they made us sign a piece of paper to void their 2 year warranty. Talk about false advertising and not living up to their promise to guarantee to fix the toilet. Should have gotten my money back since they failed to solve problem. Called another plumbing service and they fixed the problem on their first try. Never would use Holt Plumbing again.

They were willing to come back and redo something on the air conditioner right away and no extra charge to figure problem when other technician hadn't seemed to figure out its extra noises and what it was. Worked quite awhile tracking problem squeals and quieting the darn thing down.

As usual, prompt, but some of their service people are not very friendly. service people (some) do not seem too knowledgeable

I have been a customer/EPA member with Holt for over 5 years... I love all that they do for me from reminding me when my service is due to providing reliable and honest feedback on my heating and A/C systems! I originally called Holt for regular service for my furnace and A/C. I had neglected to get regular service up to that time (prob.. 5+ years since serviced) and the tech came out and spent over an hour cleaning and servicing the system. He did more than expected to explain to me what the issues were with my system and made a few recommendations along with his opinion on what needed done now, soon, and what could wait, along with the cost of each service/recommendation. He also explained the companies EPA agreement, extra privilege agreement, which is a rather inexpensive monthly charge that gives me the benefit of faster response on emergency service as well as 2 annual maintenance visits where my systems are thoroughly checked, cleaned and maintained as well as furnace filters replaced at NO EXTRA CHARGE! My minimal monthly cost covers these two visits! I have made a few small updates when they have been here (digital thermostat, UV Light cleanser etc) and with my EPA agreement I have gotten discounts on each of these products that I purchased. I also had Holt do a duct cleaning where they took a ton of building materials as well as dust and pet dander out of my system! And lastly - I am having them put in a new furnace and A/C. The tech that came most recently said that my system was functioning well for being 15 years old (which I also attribute to Holt's great maintance). And although it wasn't immediately necessary I wanted to an estimate on having a new system put in so that I could have a more energy efficient system and thereby avoiding any emergencies/unplanned repairs! With the energy company rebates on new high efficiency systems and the discounts for being an EPA customer I am getting a GREAT deal and am excited to see my energy bills reduced! I will post an update when I get my next energy report card from the energy company! and FYI- I also got a couple other estimates for the system and found Holt to be a great competitive price with one coming in a little higher and another one about the same price.

When I called to make the appointment, I was told they'd arrive sometime mid-day. They called me about 20 minutes before the technician arrived to let me know he'd be coming. Zack arrived and introduced himself. He was very friendly, knowledgable and professional. I told him that I was no longer getting any hot water from my kitchen faucet. He quickly determined that it was the shut-off valve. He gave me pricing up-front. The repair was made very quickly. After the repair, the hot water was still coming out slowly (which is normal for this faucet). Zack said that he could repair the faucet, but it would make more sense to just replace the faucet because the cost to repair it would be almost as much as replacing. I declined to replace the faucet because I'm okay with the hot water running slowly. Overall, I'm really satisfied with Holt and will likely use them again. The price did seem a little steep, but I'm willing to pay more for such good service.

The filter modification was recommended by the previous tech who came out for our month system check which I have signed up for. He spent over an hour checking the system out and then explained to me why the thicker filter would be beneficial. He said it would save wear and tear on the blower motor. Since we had that done, I do notice the blower is not having to work as hard and the dust problem we had in the rooms right close to the furnace has all but disappeared. Replacing the flue gas fan has quieted the system even more, and we almost don't hear it running. (and it is a large system) At all times, both of the techs were courteous and quite willing to answer any questions.

Put the interworks in 3 toliets and two hoses on wash machine.

Easy as pie. The technician came in, took a look and knew immediately what to do. He ran out to his truck and got the new piece required and replaced the old within minutes. He tested it and still wasn't pleased with the way it was functioning so he went and got another fixture and replaced it again. That's it, no more leak. The technician was on time... very outgoing and pleasant.

Very punctual and professional. Covered carpet with plastic and tarps. Brought to my attention a potential problem with mold that had nothing to do with what they were there for but while furnace was out I could see and fix the problem myself. Very thoughtful. I am very happy with their workmanship. Would recommend to others.

My AC was put in, Nov. 2012. So, I didn't use the AC until this summer. Holt called me for a 6month (May 2013) check up after instillation. Which I was happily surprised for the call. They found a leak, fixed it and replacing the coolant free of charge. I continued to have an issue, which came down to a faulty low voltage AC wire. I got a quote of $600 to have replaced by Holt. I held off not agreeing with the high quote or for sure if this should have been changed with instulation originally. I then got another call from Holt about 1week later. They wanted to set up an Appt. for the City Inspector to come out & check their work. I told them well that's fine, but it is not working right now do to the low voltage AC wire they had found on the last visit. The gal on the other end of the phone was surprised to hear about this. I decided to go ahead and have the Inspector out. What can this hurt? He ofcourse did not pass the AC work, as it was not functioning. Although to my surprise ( right in front of the Inspector) the Holt employee wanted me to sign their paperwork. I asked what I was signing & he replyed, "this is stating that we were here & that the AC is working." I was flabbergasted, I stated very strongly that I was not going to sign that. I was also surprised, but as ease when the Inspector agreed with me that I should not sign it, until it is working. My husband & I finally decided to change out the low voltage AC cord ourselfs (My Husband doing most of the hard work, in the tight hot attic). Love Him! Then we called Holt back out to connect the wires & test it out. It Works! Hurrah! They also changed out the sinking block they originally place (free of charge) under the AC with to wooden blocks instead. So, for the most part I am happy with Holt for following up & wanting to check their work. I do question their high quote for the low voltage wire & how they handle phone calls/communication skills in the office.

They really knew what they were doing. They had to remove a portion of a copper line and replaced it with pvc. The sink drain trap was also replaced. Most of this repair was in the wall and access was limited.

Holt disassembled the toilet, discovered a bad main seal between the tank and the bowl. Replaced it, cleaned up, etc. Went well, we were very pleased.

They appeared at the scheduled time and completed the work promptly. A well done professional job all around.
