Blue Sky Satellite

They are our regional service provider. I have two TV's, one in the living room and one in my bedroom. The one in my bedroom is a smaller TV and several techs have come out because I could not get a picture and it was very dark. They told me for a couple of years that there was nothing they could do about it but they fixed it and I was absolutely amazed. There was no price for that visit.

They work with DISH Network, but they are good. We have a box that takes care of the satellite connection where after it comes in, it is hooked up to the VCR. We had a movie marathon with a couple of teenage girls and ladies from church at our house. They wanted to experience some older musicals, and I hit the wrong button on the VCR when I went to take the tape out and pressed “satellite off.” We worked all weekend trying to get it back and configured, so we called the company and they said they will have somebody there on Monday. We said that’s not a problem because we called on Sunday and we didn’t really want anybody out on Sunday. They showed up on time. They showed us it was all an input button we just had hit twice instead of once. We didn’t realize it was two lines. He explained it to us and showed us what to do and checked everything out. He went up and he checked on the signal, and he checked on the dish to make sure it faced the right way, and he really went above and beyond. He didn’t make us feel like losers. When there is something like this where, he says, when you have an older TV and are still using a VCR, this is normal. So, they don’t make you feel awkward when it is something easy. Their representative is really nice. You call them and they get right out to you, and they call you before they come. They make an appointment and they stand by that appointment, and they even call you and let you know if they are going to be late, or that they will be there within this amount of time or are only this far away. They check everything out before they leave, and make sure everything is working. They explain everything and, just in case it happens again, they show you what to do, especially if it is something simple that you can take care of.
