It went very well. It took them about 2 hours and they knew exactly what they were doing. The radon have been +4 and it went to 0.03, which is a great result.

 + -1 more10lb weight restriction. This was extremely frustrating since we were told they would come on Tues. Overall, once the gentlemen arrived all of them were pleasant and courteous. Work went smoothly and they finished in 4 days. The concrete finish work is poor. This was especially discouraging as he guy old me he doesn't normally do concrete work. It seemed as if som of he workers weren't as knowledgable about the product, since they didn't have answers for questions I had. The first night after it was finished, we had a large rainfall. The basement is dry and with the dehumidifier running, I no longer smell mold. We looked in he drain ports and noticed water running the opposite direction of he sumps. Regardless, the basement is dry and water stayed out! We're glad we did it as the end result is a dry basement. However, there were issues we weren't happy with as stated above. Maybe we're just being picky, but we should-it was a lot of hard-earned money.
Description of Work: We had them come to put the drain system in our basement, wall covering, sump system, and dehumidifier. First of all, Dan (owner) was very thorough in explaining everything about the system. We felt very confident in everything he told us and seemed very genuine. We had several questions after we signed contract, but getting a hold of Dan was nearly impossible. He wouldn't return calls promptly an sometimes not at all. This was discouraging. We were scheduled to start work on a Monday and still hadn't heard from Dan on he Friday before to tie up loose ends. Finally late Friday my husband was in touch with him. He stated that work would begin on Tuesday. There was still some last minute things that we had o do to prepare our basement for their arrival (moving things, etc.). We had just had a baby the week prior so I was home, but still unable to do much. They called my husband on Monday morning and stated they were on the way.  + -1 moreAfter our initial estimate we made an appointment to start the work on 4-29. About a week before that date they called us and said they could do it on 4-25. We were happy since our basement is flooded. 4-25 came and noone showed up. I called about noon and they said oops they messed up. The installation went fine. There were 3 guys working and were very polite and courteus. After they left we discovered they had dropped a plastic storage bin full of photographs. It was broken and pictures were all wet. My wife was in tears. They could have at least said something about it. After about 2 weeks there was still moisture where the cement was poured so we called and left message. No response. We called again 2 days later and they apologized and said they would call us back to come spray a sealant on the cement. Sure enough no call back. The work itself was ok but the after-service care and ability to pick up the phone and call us was pathetic.

Basement Solutions returned our call within five business days, however, by that time we already signed an agreement with another company that came out Monday, April 15.

Description of Work: Stabalized foundation by installing steel piers and built a deck to replace concrete steps and patio slab. Repositioned patio blocks that collapsed on the basement patio.

They came out to do a radon inspection for a house we were purchasing. They were very professional and helpful. The current homeowner was less than cooperative for the inspection but Dan was extremely patient and even went back to test again at no additional cost. We will need further services to reduce the radon in the basement and we will definitely be using them for that as well.

 + -1 moreBasment Solutions notified us they were ready earlier than they had quoted us. They worked quicky to complete the task and left the basement clean. The work still looks good (3 months later) and there is no water in the basement.
Description of Work: We had water getting into the basment after each rainstorm. We arranged for Basement Solutions to "trench" on the inside of the exterior walls and line them with tile. The walls were also lined on the inside to channel the water. Finally, a sump pump would collect the water and pump it about 40 feet.

Description of Work: I have been saving to have my basement water-proofed for 15 years. I interviewed three different companies and Basement Solutions brought samples of materials to be used and a pamplet describing the product and how it works and many references. The owner explained everything in great detail and after hearing from the other two companies (they did not have as much information) I decided to go with Basement Solutions and I am so glad I did. They all (foreman and crew) were very professional and did everything they said they were going to do and in the time they said. I just could not be happier with my new DRY basement. It looks great and everthing works great. I can't say enough good things about this company.
