I was very disappointed. At first I was impressed with their professional appearing website, and got a generally positive impression when they came out to give an estimate -- they were prompt and polite and seemed to listen and take notes & appropriate measurements. The estimate was similar to others I had gotten, and the overall price was reasonable. They also provided a written contract, which seemed professional. They estimated the job would take a week, but then they suddenly left four days into the job with insufficient explanation, then returned (at my request) two months later to finish, when they could work it into their schedule. They ended up spending three times as long on the job as they had told me originally, and kept giving excuses (e.g. bad weather, humidity, poor framing, etc.) and trying to bargain for more money due to increased labor costs! The house is not a large one (1800 square feet) and should NOT have taken 15 days to drywall; I suspect (but don't know) that they were using inexperienced labor, since I could probably have done the job in less time myself if I had the necessary equipment. They also cleaned up very poorly, leaving splatters of texture on wooden surfaces, window screens, doors, previously painted walls and on my floors -- in fact, they entirely "forgot" to clean one of the rooms in the house. They actually used MY mops, detergent, and brooms for what cleaning they did do, and then left them caked with drywall dust and hardened texturing material. Even though they had their own ladders, they trashed a ladder that belonged to me (I'm not sure why they even were using it). Worst of all, my floors and a kitchen counter were damaged while they were working in my house, but they denied any liability whatsoever and refused to provide the name of their liability insurance company, though their website claims they are insured.
Description of Work: I hired the company to hang and finish drywall on the ceiling and walls of my partly finished house.
