He misrepresented himself, never arrived before 11:00 a.m., left by 3:30 p.m. He did a terrible job, he didn't wrap the house in tyvek. His cut outs looked like they were done with a childrens pair of scissors. All of the siding had to be removed and redone.
Description of Work: Mr. Mcduffee is presenting himself as a general contractor. He was hired to side my house, absolutely the worst job anyone has ever see, was said by the persons I hired to re-do it all.

First of all I have been in business and licensed bonded insured for years as a licensed contractor and no prior complaints on this job with weeks of work prior. I spent over two weeks rebuilding the house inside and out just to be able to do the siding work. the place was in such disrepair,because all the additional work was needed , received no payment, for windows installed or the changing of plans, foundation in the back reconstruction, wall reconstruction. They broke the written contract. Her persons she mentions were more than that,they just moved in on the the job site,never seen anything like it, waited till nearly done then these yokes come in and start trouble i was nearly done, and on my permit i should have considered higher authority out there to turn off the permit but I called the inspector, they had already finished the little bit that was left by this time, on my permit no authorization. they just wanted all the work done for free .And the business with the trim around the electric boxes cable boxes gas and water needed more time on the corner than I had that day we buttoned down because of the weather forecast, that was about 90 %+ finished , her persons finished it, they couldn't do the job in the first place but they could come in after it was nearly done alright I put a mechanics lien on there, Just decided to take the higher ground ,the pictures in the front of the house,come on, right where the rotted door size windows were,the house was infested didn't manage to show any of those pics,this is so high school, I have pics to back that up not able to post um here tho due to there policy ..I rebuilt all the under carriage there foundation before closing as did on the outside as well as putting in a wall,and dry walling another.there was no set time to there high school like accusations .Heavy siding special order, much more expensive than a big box stores provided,You don't wait for somebody to almost get done working. with out prior complaints, plus any repairs of concerns be done by the contractor, oh ya you can side the whole house but you can't be allowed to do some simple alterations afterward,any one in business see a shill,. and let them come forward who supposedly did work and we can all go down to the city and check licenses together.including any license for running a business out of the back door of this location they will only duck and run. thanks to all my good paying customers who viewed this and took the time to read it.

Employee & owner did not show upon time or on days they were supposed to. Did not complete job within time frame. Did not do right work, chimney is worse now ! Took to small claims court and he filled bankruptcy. Never use again !
Description of Work: Seal coat chimney with mortar to stop chimney from falling apart.

Been in business for years and stand behind my work. We set up and finished that job in record time, do to An emergency chimney I recall we set up the next day on an ice and snow covered driveway because of there high concerns to keep bricks from popping these lazies on the head, We work fast.this was an insurance job,which i got them .They never paid the deductible expect everything given to them as they had no money , she mentioned bankruptcy don't look to far in her history you will see one there to ,that had nothing to do with anything but everything to do with another businesses who owed me much larger amounts filing on me as well as many others , Over two years past they decided they wanted there broke butt 200 dollars they wanted for the roof which needed to be torn off way back then before i came into the picture ,and i wish i would not have ,cause these types wait for people to help them always think somebody owes them ,nothing was busted on the chimney they just wanted money to there complaint so they had to make up one and have made yet another misleading statement saying how the chimney was made worse, this was a no money job more of a charity case, its still standing today untouched from the repairs but there is a new roof. been in business for over 30 years why would I set up on there chimney and make it worse that's a very discrediting and uncalled for malicious statement it was a concrete monument when we were done solid to last for years in the future it did need to be painted and maintained at some point which shows none,because of lazy, of course and insurance company looks at these things before and after that's why . Then she stated no licensed, again check the city.find that to be another nothing statement. So work done two almost three years before they filed ,but it was with the roof not the chimney they had a complaint, and said a small blotch of cement was on there roof wanted compensation I agreed to a hundred dollars just to be done with it then they decided to come back and post there malicious anyway, So another misleading and false statement as we stand behind our work and would repair if requested,but that's not mentioned they wanted money, so in closing they got there work done paid nothing for it filed way after two years which should not have happened anyway.My only wish is that someday they start a business of there own.and get customers just like them.thank you for your time.
