FLOORING GALLERY

I was very disappointed to hear that they hired sub contractors who bid their own work. Yet Flooring Gallery is who I had the contract with. They ripped out my toilet and put it in my bathtub and even though I paid them to remove it and put it back, they were not going to put it back at all. They told me that I had to worry about that. I was also told that after they ripped out the carpet in my bathroom that the 3/4" round was not part of the job. If I wanted that done, I'd have to pay $30 extra. I felt ripped off. After-all, isn't a bid just that? A bid to have the job done right? Ticked off, I called Tom at Flooring Gallery and he said he'd call me back. He never did, but I did have the sub contractors come out and chew me out for even calling Flooring Gallery about finishing the bathroom right. "I TOLD YOU" he said "I told you I'd do it for you for $30 extra." I told him I thought that he should build that into the bid in the FIRST place. They didn't care. Just did not care. They ended up helping me by actually putting in the toilet. "Doing me a favor" they said. The toilet has not been the same since. Even though I had to run to the store and get the parts to put the toilet back on... they did it. Then my toilet leaked for weeks. I called them to remind them that I paid them to take care of this already... they said "See? This is why we don't do 'favors'". I had to have my Dad come over and fix it. They did not do what they said they would.
