We ordered a pattern with veining. The product we received had the proper veining on the counter surface, but faded streaks (that did not look at all like veins) in the basin. The company insisted that that is the result of their production process and not a defect and therefore the customer must accept it. Anyone who has seen this product has agreed that they would not install it. The company would not issue a replacement or refund. Very disappointing.

Overall ? it was a disaster ! We selected basic kitchen cabinets from Bertch, with our designer's professional advice (House of Burgess) based on style, price and her experience. WE placed our order with ample time for manufacturing and delivery for a January 3, 2011 start date, using their time tables. Because of an error in measuring by the kitchen designer ( Burgess) two new cabinets had to be re-ordered. We requested that the order be expedited, to no avail. We then found they had mismanufactured a shelving unit and again we requested an expedited turn around, to no avail. In fact, this became a protracted argument between the manufacturer, their distributor, the designer, and us, because of the blaming, finger pointing, mis communication and a bad manufacturing process that results in poor quality products. While these arguments happened, we then discovered the poor quality of the remaining cabinets, during the installatioin process. This poor product quality incudes : warped doors, hinges not to code, bad paint - sprayed over dirt, incomplete painting of surfaces , paint over chipped wood, defective handles ( scratches and splinters), missing shelving hardware. After it became apparent that working through the chain of command was not yielding the results we paid for, we unsuccessfully attempted to call the manufacturer directly, on multiple occasions. We then were chastised by their Sales Representative , Frank Green, for making attempts to " jump the chain of commmand" and he blamed us for the delays! Unfortunately, he took no action on our behalf either . He had to be coaxed to come to our home twice to finally acknowledge the poor quality of his cabinetry. He and his company never acted in the name of basic customer service. We had to replace more than half of the cabinet doors due to poor quality, a pantry door three times due to warping. We had to use the paint touchup kit three times after the installation due to manufacturing flaws. We will never recommend this company, period.
