Two Men And A Truck

The two young men that loaded our truck were very friendly and respectful. However, the loading job was extremely poor. When we arrived at our destination, the movers who unloaded (also with Two Men and a Truck) stated numerous times how terrible the packing job was. All heavy furniture was placed on top of boxes and totes, completely crushing many of the boxes. We had a damaged wagon, elliptical, sitting room chair set and more. I reported this to the company immediately. I was offered a $250 refund. I explained that the damage was not the potential fault of the moving vehicle or driver; that had the truck been loaded properly and boxes not crushed by heavy furniture, damage would have been mitigated. This office manager was unwilling to do anything further. Please note- Two Men and a Truck Urbandale does not stand behind their work and if you have damaged items, you have zero recourse. Very unsatisfied with the way this office conducts business and treats their customers.

Everything went very well. The movers are courteous, positive, and professional. Nothing broke or damaged.

They were on time and the move went perfectly. Two Men and a Truck are pretty expensive, but you get what you pay for.

Extremely professional and friendly, very good price. The movers were helpful and knowledgeable, they made sure we were aware of any issues or concerns, and they were great to work with. Every step of the process - from estimating to signing off on the final delivery - was easy, enjoyable (as enjoyable as moving could be), and efficient.

I've used numerous movers over the years. I chose Two Men and a truck (Urbandale, IA) because I thought that they would do a good job. Thanks to their carelessness I now have a sofa that is broken and is L shaped, a demolished clothing rack, some destroyed art (water-color paintings) and a missing family heirloom and a missing Macbook PRO laptop. I contacted them about the damage and was given the "I don't care - not my problem attitude". Additionally they scraped up the walls and door way of the house that I moved from, and one of the movers who was constantly chewing sunflower seeds spit them everywhere, both inside and outside my home! I don't feel that it's my responsibility to clean up his mess. Upon opening some of the boxes I discovered that one of the movers clearly doesn't believe in using any packing material, as he just threw loose items in a box and taped it shut! Now I'm stuck with broken and missing items. I've been stewing over this for 2 years now! Living in the Twin Cities I had numerous options to choose from for moving companies. I stupidly chose this company because I have a family member who works for them and he did a fabulous and extremely careful job of packing things. Unfortuntately, when he was busy and not watching dumb and dumber things went horribly wrong! It's an enormous shame that the other two movers apparently needed constant supervision. The wretched way that this company treated me when I reports damage is proof that they don't give a darn. Not only will I NEVER use this company again, I've made it very clear to friends (in the Des Moines area - where they are located) that this company is not to be trusted with any move because they simply don't care! I am moving again and I'm certain that I'll enjoy sitting on the floor in my new living room because my sofa is absolutely unusable. To make matters worse, I gave them a generous tip. If I had known the outcome of the move, I would have used that money, which is gone, to replace and repair my missing and broken items. Shame on Two Men and a Truck! Their carelessness is clear and I will go out of my way to make certain that everyone I come into contact knows about my awful experience! I have a job as a personnel manager and am in contact with hundred of people on a regular basis, not to mention that my family is well known in multiple states, which gives me a greater opportunity to share the story of my wretched experience! Shame on them!!!

The guys arrived right on time. They walked through the house with us and determined everything we needed moved, then parked the truck and went to work. They proceeded to work like demons without letting up at all. We had a large sectional that needed to be partially disassembled to move. They carefully removed the necessary pieces and reassembled them at the new house. The whole time, they were joking with my wife and I and one another (never stopping the work, of course). They were friendly and kind and really made the whole process an absolute joy. They were as careful with our belongings as I can imagine they would be with their own. At the end of the day, they moved so quickly that the final total came in almost $75 under the lowest estimate. We were extremely happy with the service and would (and have been) recommending Two Men and a Truck to everyone we know.

It did not go well. They behaved unprofessionally with another coworker while in front of me. Upon inspection of the move, they did damage some of my furniture. I did not like the way I was treated when I reported the damage. I also did not like that there were other items that were scratched and damaged that I found later.

The move went well and the movers were very experienced. We had accident with a popcorn machine and had a glass panel break, but the company showed up a week later with a brand new one. They went above and beyond to satisfy us so they get an A+ from us!

All three young men were very friendly & personable. And hard-working! It made me tired just watching them! They worked non-stop for 6 1/2 hours, with only a 15 minute break (which they did not charge us for!) and the driving time between homes as "rest" time. They put everything exactly where we requested & made sure that all furniture was assembled & positioned properly before moving on the next piece. We've used this company for several moves & will continue to do so in the future!

Experience could not have been better. Guys were great and worked very hard and fast. I would recommend to anyone.

The guys were prompt, polite, careful, and cheerful. Very patient with my elderly mother. After they left we realized her 19" flat screen tv had been damaged. I called the company the next morning and less than an hour later there was a man at the door with a brand new 27" flat screen tv - the same brand! He hooked it up and made sure it worked before he left. Outstanding service!

Two Men and a Truck were assigned to come to my house between 10 a.m. and 12:30 p.m. to begin work. Around 11 something I received a call that they would be coming and should arrive in about a half- hour to forty-five minutes. They arrived right on time. Two Men and a Truck came with three men but only charged for two. They explained what they were there to do and explained the pricing. I signed a paper acknowledging this had been explained to me. The men got right to work. Two men moved everything very carefully to the garage, while one began putting together the furniture in the basement. When all the items had been moved to the garage, the other two men began helping putting items together. At approximately two hours, one of the men gave me a quote based on the amount of time they had put in and asked me if I wanted them to continue. I said yes and they did. All of the men were very courteous and thoughtful throughout the process. They helped pick up items, putting them in boxes to get the out of our way. And, they even cleaned up the basement. They help me do all the stuff I cannot do. This is my third time using them and I highly recommend their services!

Not a lot of details. Wanted my son's king size bed put in the guest room and furniture in guest room stored in basement. Team was quick, efficient and polite getting job done.

I have used Two Men and a Truck three times in the last 5 years. They have ALWAYS been careful, courteous and hard workers. The office staff explained everything and followed up with a survey after my move. The movers asked when unsure of where items were to be moved to and asked if they could take a break on a very hot day and made sure I understood that they would be taking the break off my bill. I am very satisfied with their service and have recommended them to several friends.

Their charge is quite fair. They're very friendly. They were punctual and quick. It was very painless. There was no hassle. They were the company that was the easiest to schedule. They basically stood behind their word. They provided everything they said as promised.

They were excellent, they took great care of everything. They wrapped the furniture, they moved an antic tunnel and no problem whatsoever. I had part of it taken to a storage unit and part of it to where i leave now. They did a good job, they did a quick load and took really good care of my things.

Everything turned out well. The scheduling was easy, the two-person crew was on time and knowledgeable, and the entire process went very smoothly. The crew also knew how to handle and wrap the more fragile items which was great.

Terry Fiscus and Nihad Imsirovic were the movers and they did a great job. They were respectful of my belongings and were good natured throughout the move. They arrived about 15 minutes early and hit the ground running. I shared with them my concern of being completed by a certain time and they kicked it into another gear and had everything unloaded and in the correction places early. If you have the chance to request who does your move, I would highly recommend Terry and Nihad.

Office staff helpful and professional. Actual movers did their job, but not one bit more. They won't install appliances, so this is a big concern. Also, if I didn't get to a room before they did, they simply stacked boxes in the middle of the room. This made unpacking even more difficult. IF Siddall is not terribly expensive, they were certainly more accommodating when I helped a friend with her move in October.

The two man team was right on schedule and wasted no time loading the truck with our furniture - appropriately wrapping those pieces that needed extra attention. They questioned each item as to whether they were moving it or whether we will taking it in our cars. They worked quickly and carefully, loading many heavy pieces and appliances, such as a large refrigerator and full size washer and dryer. They also moved an upright piano and many antique pieces. After loading the truck, they went to a near by storage unit and emptied that of the stored tools and lawn care equipment that we had not used in several years. After completing the packing they drove the two hours to our new home. There they quickly and efficiently unpacked the truck putting each piece in the proper room. They also removed an old stove from the basement of the house to the garage, and replaced the existing washer, dryer, and refrigerator with the ones from the truck putting all of the appliances we were not going to keep into the garage. I really did not expect them to do these things for us. I was thrilled at their cooperation and willingness to help. They finished the unpacking quickly and made sure everything was done to our satisfaction. If would use this company again and would recommend them to my friends or relatives.

It was great. They got everything on the truck and moved up here. They took everything out and had it load. We moved it to a storage unit. I have to say they had everything put in the storage unit and stack every neatly. They did a good job putting stuff in the storage unit.

Things went really well. They were really friendly and allowed me to help carry things in/out to speed things up with another set of hands.
