We are a locally owned business that can provide DIRECTV satellite service anywhere in the country and CenturyLink services anywhere they are available. We have a local team of veteran, professional installers and access to the DIRECTV nationwide team as well.
I had a bad experience with them. I like that they are cheap but at the same time if the wind blows the wrong way my service goes out. It has gone 8-10 since I signed up last April for a three year contract. I have called them several times to make a complaint and get it disconnected but they just don’t want to deal with it without charging me a horrendous fee even though I have had so many problems. For the first year it was $45 a month and it went up to almost $70. They took away a few channels recently but they got it back after an agreement with Viacom. I have got it down to $55 a month for all the problems I had. Once my agreement is done I would never refer them to anybody and I would never use them again. They also sold me a dinosaur system and it’s been ages and they haven’t figured it out. They want me to climb on my own roof and adjust my satellite dish. I wait for them to come and it takes about 3-4 days for them to fix it. It is hard to get through to anybody on the phone. UPDATE: Dean, a new tech in our area that specialized in Quality Control, came to our house when another technician could not finish the job. He worked straight for 2 hours to get everything right... We have not had any issues since. I would give him an A+, he is only that has taken the time to fix my problems.

We just switched from another provider to Direct TV because their channel line makes more sense. Other than that they still had all the same upgrades we had with the other provider. I think one can have the bill whenever one wants but mine is the 10th of every month. They came out almost immediately to install it.

They contract for their installers, so they don't have any blanket quality control on their installers. They would say things that they would not hold to, they don't listen to their customers. They tried to bill me for a DVR that I returned to them, they just were very difficult to deal with. They put me into collections for something that I returned, and I am still fighting with them over this, and it has been over two years.
Description of Work: I started with them with my phone company and had them for 4 years.

We had Dish network at a camper, and we could never get anyone out to look at it. When it first came out, it was $139 and my parents got Dish. It depends where you have your satellite is to get the best service, we used to have ours on the porch, the trees grew up, and we had to move it to the roof. I call and tell them what my problem is and they walk me through it. I didn't grow up with technology, and I tell my son he has to help. We don't have all the channels. My dad does, and he has Dish. We just don't watch TV, my husband just watches the Hunting channel. We're so busy, we don't stay in the house. Whenever I have a problem with Direct TV, I just call, and they have great customer service. I give them high ratings and will continue to use them. I am under contract.

We decided to use Direct TV because we could get some of the sports channels on the local cable. My husband likes it a lot now that he has got it, so we would never get rid of it.
