They were quick. From the time that I called to get an estimate to the time that they did it, was like a day. It was kind of pricey for just one window.

The owner of the company came to do the estimate. As I knew little about window tint, he clearly explained the options available to me. He spent a good amount of time determining which product would suit our needs, and when he learned that I really wanted to maintain the brightness of the room, it was easy to choose the appropriate one. He emailed the proposal, which I agreed to, and an appointment was set up for the following week. Due to a cancellation on his schedule, he was able to come earlier than expected. It took the two men approximately 2 1/2 hours to finish the windows. I was very pleased with the professionalism of the company, and am very happy with the results. They did everything exactly the way they had promised.

Obtained a quote for applying window film in order to reduce fading of carpeting and home furnishings and to reduce radiant energy entering rooms in summer months. I believe the set of windows under consideration would have qualified as a and quot;average/large residentialand quot; job (135 sqft of windows). I dealt with Sid and David. We had to reschedule once due to a snow storm, but they were punctual in providing advance notice that they couldn't honor the original appointment due to weather. They called back in a couple days to reschedule, which we did, and David was punctual in arriving for that appointment. He quickly measured all windows, provided a very thorough explanation of choices and properties of the window films we were considering, and provided a detailed written quote by the next day. The prices seemed competitive and as I followed-up via email with additional questions, David promptly answered them. In the end, we chose a different vendor because they offered an alternate product not provided by Iowa Sun Control. After a lot of internet research, we chose to have the alternate film applied because we believe it will better serve our needs. Nevertheless, Iowa Sun Control was very professional, appeared to be competent and cost effective, and we wouldn't hesitate to consider their services in the future.
