FACTORY DIRECT APPLIANCE

I have been working with Factory Direct Appliances for 10 months to get estimates/quotes for new appliances in our remodeled kitchen. I have received many quotes throughout the process with various appliance choices. None of the quotes included a "Delivery Charge" until this very last quote - the one I have to actually pay for!!! Now there is a $45 delivery fee!! When I asked Rhonda about this additional charge that was added "at the last minute", she told me that they always have to charge a delivery fee. I told her that it had not been included on any of the other quotes that she had given me and she stated that she must have "overlooked" putting it on there previously. This upsets me because this charge was NOT on ANY of the other 6 quotes that I had received from her or Michael Archer. So, in addition to the $337 of installation fees, I also now have to pay a $45 delivery fee on over $6,000 of appliances! It seems very petty to me and I feel nickel and dimed, but since my appliances are scheduled to be delivered next week, I do not have time to find them someplace else, so I will pay the $45 and be mad about it. It is really too bad, because we had had a great experience with them up until this point. Rhonda was very helpful the many times we were in the showroom. We knew exactly what we wanted with the refrigerator, freezer and dishwasher. The oven was more of a challenge, but we were able to find one that we liked. I believe we are going to be very happy with our appliances (I hope) and I have heard good things about their installation of them, but the delivery fee added on to the very last quote really just aggravates me! If she had been upfront about these charges, that would be a different story. This seems very sneaky to me!
