+ -1 moreAside for the length of time between the initial call and final fix, everything went very well. I found the pricing fair. Scott did a good job, was on time, clean and cleaned up after himself.
Description of Work: I am the first occupant of a townhouse which had a gas fireplace built in. After 12 years the fireplace would not come on when the wall switch was flipped. The model / brand is no longer made. This happened on a Sunday. On Monday I called around and found that CKF would service this unit. They couldn't get to me until Thursday at 8:30 am and their serviceman Scott was here promptly. He troubleshot the system and found that a valve had frozen in place. He did not have one with him, but thought he could get one in "The first of the week". On Monday I called and was given an appointment for Thursday. Scott returned on Thursday and installed the replacement valve, cleaned the fireplace and glass. The cost of the valve was approximately $100 and the service calls $97.50. The service calls are good for one year. With tax the total came to $202.73.
