I called and told them that I was having my roof redone, and needed someone to come out and move the dish, and move it back when the work was done. The girl that I spoke with set up an appointment for me for the following Monday. I am almost positive that I heard her say goodbye before we hung up. No one came on that date. I called them to explain that the roofers were here waiting on them. The gentleman that I spoke with said that the call when we scheduled was dropped in the middle, so the appointment was never made. He said the soonest someone could come out would be on Thursday. I explained again that the roofers were already at my house to start, and he said there was nothing they could do. I told him that, because they were not willing to work with me, I would be finding another provider. I did find another, and they came out that day. When I called to officially cancel with Dish, I was informed that I had signed a 2 year contract. When I signed up, I was having trouble with the picture, so they said that they would waive the contract. He asked if I remembered the name of the woman that told me that, because they don't have records of phone calls. I don't believe that. I did not remember her name. He said that he had my signature in front of them. The only thing I ever signed was a work order, and I was assured at the time that it had nothing to do with the contract. Now I have to pay them $10 per month for almost 2 years; until the contract is over. No one should use this company!
