With the wet and stormy spring there was some project delay; but some nice june dryer weather helped. He called the day before as he said he would do and they were here to start work first thing the next day. He and his crew were very nice, did a great job and even trimed a 5th tree that he saw a few problems with some storm damage. They worked a good 8 hours and did such a good job I gave him additional tip. Would highly recommend Mark Lam Tree Service. You will get good and fair priced work.

Mark responded to my phone call. He did exactly as we agreed upon. He was prompt, professional and did a good job. I would recommend him to others.

Admittedly, my needs were not much - I had one ornamental 20' pear tree, three small 12and quot;-14and quot; diameter stumps and a overgrown p**** willow bush/tree (15' tall) that had recently toppled in a thunderstorm due to a rotted trunk. I called and left a message for Mark - he called back within an hour. He said that he was in town already so he would stop by to take a look at my situation and provide a quote. He showed up later that afternoon, at the time that he said he would. After reviewing my property, he indicated he did not normally have a stump grinder and would probably wait to do those until he had enough jobs scheduled to do them all in one day (made sense to me). However the two trees, he could stop back later in the week and complete. Since I had no specific deadline, I told him any time that week would work fine for me. I would leave the back gate unlocked, just call before you come over. We agreed on the price and shook on it. He called, I think it was three days later, and said he would be by that afternoon to cut the trees down. They were so quiet and quick that both my wife and I were home at the time and did not even realize they were in the yard until they were completely done loading the truck up with the wood from the trees. We happend to look out into the backyard and realized the tree was gone! They cleaned the yard meticulously and left no trace, other than a few impact holes from where the branches landed...which was more than acceptable. A subcontractor came by the house three days after that with a stump grinder and took care of the stumps - to almost a foot below grade. Overall, extremely pleased with the services provided, along with recommendations for taking care of a few other mature trees on my property. I would not hesitate recommending his service to others.

From giving me a very reasonable estimate for the job through clean-up, Mark Lam and his crew did an outstanding job. All I knew was that the trees in my yard looked terrible and I wasn't sure what to do. Mark walked around the yard with me making suggestions. It quickly became obvious to me that he knew a lot more about the art of tree trimming than I will ever know. I decided to trust him completely with the job and I was not disappointed. The trees look wonderful and the branches no longer pose a threat to the roof. I will not hesitate to use Lam Tree service in the future!

From one of our snowstorms, I had some evergreen trees that had been damaged. I had him come over and remove them and I had him do some tree trimming also. My experience with him has been very happy, very professional. He came over, he was very punctual. He came over and looked, gave me an estimate and I talked to my wife and called him the next day. He came over that afternoon actually and took care of it. He cleaned up his mess and we are very happy with him.

After the recent ice storm, I noticed several broken limbs hanging over the roof of our house. Two of the limbs were probably 5and quot; diameter, and were probably 30 feet above the roof. I called Mark Lam and he stopped the same day to give me an estimate. He returned a couple weeks later, climbed the tree, and removed the branches in a careful manner. I was pleased with the service provided by Mark and his two helpers. I know for a fact the job took well over an hour.

II called Lam's to make an appointment for an estimate. Mr. Lam returned the call and stopped by that day. He returned several days later and removed our trees and bushes quickly. He and his crew were efficient and professional. I would recommend Lam's without hesitation.

The work went well. I called three companies for an estimate. Lam gave me the best price for the work I wanted done. They were prompt in providing me with an estimate and completing the work. The tree service I requested was accomplished per my specifications. Lam Tree Service is a good choice for anyone needing tree trimming.

We have a group of three trees growing very close together in our backyard. High winds caused one tree to snap mid-way up its trunk. Rather than fall to the ground it lodged onto the tree next to it. We were now concerned that both trees might fall together. Depending upon which direction they fell, it was possible one or both trees would hit our deck. Over the phone, I explained our dilemma to Lam. Lucky for us he just finished a job and came to look at our issue within a couple hours. Lam was able to remove the lodged tree and save nearly all of the other. We could not have asked for a better job. Our problem was solved, cleanup was good, and the price was fair. We would recommend Lam Tree Service to anyone.

I called on 6/26 and requested a quote for removal and trimming. Mark stopped by that afternoon and looked things over. He mentioned they'd fit me in some time in the next week. The next day they showed up and took care of things. They cleaned up and took payment. Every thing was as expected and it was an excellent experience.

Wife was very happy, he did the work i wantekd done and in the manner i wished it done.

Mr. Lam returned my calls promptly, and showed up when he said he would. The first day he came, he was only able to do one smaller tree, as one of his crew had a family emergency and couldn't make it. The second day, he and two assistants showed up at 8:30 AM and worked all day until 3:30 PM. The team was professional and efficient, and they cleaned up and raked the entire yard as they worked. Our trees look wonderful, and we were charged exactly what Mr. Lam had originally quoted. I cannot recommend him highly enough.

Mark Lam came the day after I first called to see the trees I wanted removed and trimmed and gave me a verbal estimate (which I wrote down). He and his team returned about two weeks later and quickly and efficiently took care of everything we discussed. They not only cut down two trees, and trimmed several others, they burned all the remaining brush and cut the wood into firewood. They then transported all the firewood to my neighbors at our request. While here, Mark had a flat tire so I suggested he use my air compressor to fill his tire. While he was in the garage, he noticed my husband's chainsaw was broken (chain off), so he fixed it!! I was very happy with the work. The only caveat I have is to make sure you either get the initial quote in writing, or write it down yourself to make sure you know the price you agreed to.

Verbal estimate was $250. Contractor asked for $300 plus 7and sales tax. Not per original agreement. Ownier is a good, hard working individual. However, do not hire without a written estimate including sales tax.

Mr Lam is an Arborist, and provided much useful information prior to, and during, the four days he was working on our property. He and his staff behaved in a professional manner and cleaned up the area to our satisfaction upon completing the job. He remained true to his proposal price, even though it appeared to us that he had done more than he had initially proposed. He gave us a target date to finish of thirty days, but completed the job in four days. We are of the opinion that he would have been finished in three days if it hadn't started to rain and "flurry" the second day. We are very happy with the work done and the way in which it was done. We have recommended him to other friends, already.
