SEARS HOME IMPROVEMENT PRODUCTS

The washing machine is working perfectly. The dishwasher is not much different, but the serviceman was pleasant, polite, and professional.

Sears called to set up a time to have a service person come out to do an estimate. He didn't call or show up. Then I got a call from Sears wanting to know if I was happy with the estimate. I explained that the person didn't show up so we setup a second appointment. Again they didn't call or show up so when Sears called to see if I was satisfied I told them what happened and asked them not to contact me again. I stayed home and waited for them to show up 2 days, decided they didn't need a third chance.

The Sears rep. never showed or called but when I called them later that evening to find out why they didn't show, the Sears Customer Service rep said they had called me to cancel. I told her I was home all day and received no calls and had no messages from Sears on my answering machine. I declined any further services through Sears.

They put in the original HVAC system in our home. I have a maintenance contract with them and it is a very good price for 3 years. I have had no problem at all with their service. I will continue to use them again because of our maintenance contract. Their prices are comparable to some of the local furnace companies in our area.

They had the exact same make and model of the equipments that I wanted to replace. We got 2 fluorescent light fixtures, microwave, stove and two radios; one was like a small Bloombox and the other was a clock radio. I installed all the appliances myself. I also had the furnace fixed. They were fine and I didn't have any problems. The salesman was courteous. They were pretty knowledgeable. They were helpful in finding the exact models that I had because I had previously purchased the microwave there. I had purchased the stove somewhere else, and they did not have the same model, but they were courteous and helpful. Their price was very reasonable. I would use them again in the future.

They didn't clean up after themselves very well. They knocked down some insulation in the floor joists and didn't put it back and they didn't clean around the furnace so there were small metal shards laying around. They were argumentative; I wanted it placed on one side of the house and they said they would only put it where the old one was. I didn't appreciate that but I did give in. The quality of their work was fine, it was their customer service that was not good. I would not use them again for an installation.
