I had surgery on the 20th of November, and our sewer backed up into our basement. We contacted Servpro of Spencer, Ia, and than contacted our insurance company and they said we where covered! They said they would be there the next day 10:00am came and went noon came and went 2:00pm came and went, we finally called to see where they where and if they still planed on coming they said they would be there soon. My wife and I thought they would be at our house all night cleaning, boy where we in for a surprise! The Servpro crew finally showed up about 4:00pm, my wife was out running children around to their after school activities, and I was on the couch still recovering from my surgery. I heard the shop vac running and assumed they where hard at it, I heard the door open and close a couple times and drifted off to sleep only to wake to an upset wife! The crew had only been there 20 minutes when my wife came home and they where loading up their van and told her it would be a week before they would be back, HEY folks these where not rose pedels all over the basement! They said they had other customers to get too, this is not a job you bearly get started and then leave! Don't claim to be there when your needed don't act like you care when you could careless!! We ended up having to hire a differant cleaning company which I need to give them a thumbs up in a differant review! DO NOT hire Servpro for anything their word is no good!
