Dave did an excellent job from ordering quality products, installing and making sure the product was operable. Very skilled in his primary trade which is carpentry. Most of all he was polite and very professional. Products: Installed an exterior door with frame and a storm storm.

The cost for replacing my sliding glass door was $1118 over the estimate. He didnt have the price of the door correct, he neglected to include the price to haul old doors, and did not recognize that the doors would not fit without additional materials and labor (to the tune of $900). I have worked with many contractors and overall if the work was in the scope of the quote... thats what I paid. If there was extra work outside the scope of the job, I was given ab estimate for the additional work in advance and options. Then the trim replaced was not cut at 45 but straight across and was just board not trim. I will have to go back and fill the joints and nail holes and repaint. The door itself gives back and forth so you have to fiddle to get it into the locking mechanism.

Absolutely great! Dave picked up the door and installed on fast schedule. Great work ! I would highly recommend Dave Soukup!

Affordable and fast installation

Quality work all around.

Project completed quickly and we'll done. Contractor listened to my concerns and addressed them as well as fixing a few small things. He also left the place clean. He is slightly more expensive, but does quality work with attention to detail.

David was very friendly and highly knowledgeable. Very much a perfectionist in his work and it shows. He is to be semi retired from his home building business and does some construction on the side. We recommend him very highly.

Dave was quick to set up a meeting to review the work to be done. When he saw the doors that needed replacement he offered experienced advice on not just the job, but what else could be done down the road. He was able to set up for install within 10 days, including purchase of the appropriate doors and supplies. Given the condition of the building he had to do some additional work to make the door install right, but explained the “why.” Overall the work was a few hours and he brought a peace of mind to the buildings, adding security and style. When and if I need similar work done again, Dave is at the top of my list!

Dave did a great job, the door was installed quickly and done well. He explained things I didn't understand and shared details of the process and techniques he used. He was very responsive when I asked for a quote and he was able to schedule me within the same week for installation. He even hauled away the old door which we hadn't discussed and I didn't expect.

It was refreshing to have someone who knew what he was doing. Six day turnaround from the estimate...awesome. And, his taste is music is exceptional.ð ð ð  

David stopped by to give us a quote but he had time and installed our door for us there and then. He was very polite, professional and knowledgeable about installing the storm door. Since we made the attempt to install it ourselves, with our permission Dave explained some of the tricks to installing a storm door properly which we greatly appreciated. He did a great job at a reasonable price.

So great! And timely! Nothing negative about this gentleman. Within 24 hours, David gave us an estimate and replaced our front storm door. And it was not one of those standard storm door kind of thing. He had to replace the framing around our main door, as the previous owners glued the storm door frame to the door frame. Masterful work! He made sure to show us everything, to ensure that it all worked to our satisfaction. He also has a fantastic personality. Very personable. Highly recommend.
