David assisted us through the entire process from purchasing the doors and supplies down to explaining everything that he was going to do for the install. We have a greater sense of security in our home now that those doors are in. Thank you, David!

Mr. Soukup provided excellent work repairing a broken storm door and interior door as well as installing a deadbolt on our garage-to-kitchen door. The speed of his responses and the speed at which he completely all the work was outstanding! I was able to get all the work done within a week of calling which was a huge weight off my shoulders as I prepare to travel this summer. I highly recommend his services to anyone and if I ever need more work done (which of course I will) I will be inquiring into his services again! Thank you for the amazing work David!

Friendly and well explained

Mr. Soukup used deceptive and dishonest practice in giving an estimate of what his costs would be, as he added a bunch of additional add on charges we were not aware of after he had completed the work. We paid up front for all the materials but later learned from two other door contractors that he charged 2 1/2 X more than what they would have. He touted himself as a master builder but his workmanship was shoddy. We could see light/space above and below the doors he installed and the threshold piece at the bottom was not flush with the doors themselves and there was a marked step up and step down from the doors themselves, which should have had some kind of gradual incline. We were left with only disappointment with being ripped off by his unprofessional conduct and workmanship. We hope no one else will be conned by him.

Dave was very helpful in providing information about new door purchase and what brand , size and style. He arrived went right to work and installed two storm doors, repaired some door handles. I cannot imagine anyone else helping us with our patio sliding door. We did not know where to start for hiring and took a chance. From the moment David reached out to our job, he was professional, informative, and not pushy or overwhelming. During the quote, I’m sure it was obvious to David we were uneducated on a job like this—he did not try to take advantage of that and catered to our lack of education. While completing the job, David and his help were professional and kind. They respected our property and were honest. The job was completed correctly and efficiently. The end result is perfect and more than we expected. We are beyond thankful to have found David. Thank you!!!!

$1200 and said he was an expert in door installation. 2 months after the install I could not lock the door at all. The hole for the deadbolt was put in too low. Reports itâ s the homeâ s fault and he would not repair anything unless paid to do so. He does not warranty his work. Reports everything worked when he left but says my house shifted. It is 115 toward old and it shifted because the frame was installed incorrectly. I would never hire this audacious man again. No offer to even lower where the knobs insert. He left wood pieces sticking out of the frame and even tried to wedge another piece of wood into the side of the frame which was not what was needed and did the opposite. He removed this piece. He said he is so good at doors yet his door is the only one replaced that needed repaired. Rude obnoxious and not willing to fix a thing yet charge $400 more. Took me 2 1/2 months for him to return to look at the door after multiple texts and phone calls about the inability to lock my door. Was hard to reach when he didnâ t show for putting in the door. Reported his wife had cancer so I went out of my way to adjust my schedule to have the door done at a later date. Would have taken little time to redo the repair but made no effort to do so. I would not use this fellow again, although he is great at telling you how experienced he is and what the other door people did that was wrong. Arrogant.

David was easy to work with, responsive, and quickly completed our front door. We will certainly hire David again for our door projects in the future!

At the beginning I thought that everything was good but then my prospective changed. There was nail holes in the interior trim that he did not fill in and refused to fill in as well as a gap on the outside of the trim of the door that he refused to caulk in. Contractor and me disagree with the finishing after the door was installed but does good work other than that. Higher cost compared to other contractor for job but worth the money.
