Nothing about my 98 year old house is standard. David took the time to listen to my concerns and come up with a solution that would work for my farmhouse type cellar door. The result was way more than I had hoped for. It is sturdy, incorporated the metal elements that I wanted and added look and value to my homes curb appeal. He will definitely be my person to go to first for future projects.

David went the extra mile to make sure my new doors looked great! Worth every dollar. I wouldn t hesitate to hire him again. Avoid the big box stores services and get a pro who knows what he s doing.

Great work

He quoted me $450 for the project - to install 3 bedroom doors. After he showed up to do the job, and noticed he had misquoted per the workload, he changed the price to $450 per door installed. I had another quote for $685 for the entire job that I had passed up because Dave was low bidder. When I tried to negotiate a fair price with Dave, he then raised the price to $650 per door plus expenses while claiming to be a Christian. Buyer beware - be sure he puts things in writing. I paid $650 to Dave and do not have 1 door fully complete.

Replaced four storm doors. Dave helped me choose the right doors for my home. Two doors needed to be custom fit. He had never cut doors to fit before, but they are perfect! He is obviously a skilled carpenter. Definitely would hire him again.

My bathroom vanity project was scheduled and completed in just a couple of days. The project was explained to me thoroughly and He was very personable. The project area was cleaned up after the job. A few final trim elements keep me from giving 5 stars. The toe kick trim nails were not fully nailed in. I had to get my hammer out to drive them in fully. The corner of the toe kick trim was cut to short and doesn't line up with the edge trim. Not a finished look. I repaired it myself. I didn't notice either of these things till I got down on the floor a few days later while doing some painting on the vanity. Neither of these things would keep me from using this company again but I will inspect the final job more thoroughly before he leaves.

Dave went above and beyond while helping us. He took the time to meet us at Menards to ensure we bought the correct supplies. He worked efficiently and was always courteous. He was clean and picked up after himself. Every interaction was pleasant and our experience with him was better than we could have hoped for. We would absolutely use him again and recommend him to our friends and family.

Gave me a verbal quote of $425.00 per door. I trusted his word. After two doors installed he billed me $765.00 per door + a consultation fee of $65 (he never mentioned up front) for a total $1595. When I challenged him, he wouldn't back down. After he was gone I noticed air was coming through our west door like never before, and the left side of the door stuck out 1/4 inch on the inside. I called and he came back out, said he expected me to calk it on the outside because he didn't have my color calk on hand. He did calk it, which helped, but still didn't stop all the air coming through. He said he did the best he could with the door, blamed it on the house being out of whack. I had two other contractors look at it, and ended up hiring one. The door wasn't plumb, but it is now. The new contractor also discovered that David didn't insulate, which he said is part of installing a door. David also put untreated plywood as a base sill for both doors with no protection from the outside. My recommendation is to get a quote in writing with all contingencies accounted for. I would never use David. He's listed on Home Advisor as an incorporate business, but he is not listed with the Secretary of State, and my guess is not insured or licensed. My bad doesn't have to be your bad.
