 + -1 moreWe have a double lot on almost 1/4 of an acre in town. They installed ~300ft of chain link fencing (4ft) and three gates. They were very patient with me, worked through all the fencing options, and were even kind when I changed my mind after the initial estimate. The fence looks great, and they don't make you pay until they know you are happy with it. The men who came out and did the installation worked extra hard to ensure that my dogs wouldn't be able to sneak under it. They made some minor changes, with my approval, as there were high/low spots in the yard and they wanted to make sure the fence could keep my dogs in (I have two beagles who love to wander). Overall, I would recommend them to anyone, they do great work!

 + -1 moreI had special design requirements for this fence. Dan worked with me to design a fence that would satisfy my needs. This is in contrast to another fence contractor who was also highly rated on Angies List. The second contractor stated my design specifications could not be met and here is what I could have - his cookie cutter fence. After the fence had been installed Dan informed me there was a flaw in one of the gates. A flaw I had not noticed - it was very minor. A new gate was being ordered and would be installed as soon as it arrived from the manufacturer. It was installed as represented by Dan. I can not overstate the professionalism of Dan and Kyle (his long time installer). They provide a quality product with quality installation. Should I have need for additional fencing in the future Cook Fence Co. would be my vendor of choice. Just excellent!!

 + -1 moreOverall the finished product was excellent. The initial plan was flawed because it left an opening near a shed on the property. Shared responsibility for the flaw because I signed it, but my goal of keeping a toddler and dog in was clear from the outset. The delays between calls and quote and final work day were reasonable during the busy season. Price was on par with other quotes. Very nice guys to deal with on all levels from phone, quote and installers. I would recommend them and use them again.

 + -1 moreI was very happy with the whole experience. After my initial call, they came and provided an estimate. They performed the installation sooner than expected - original time frame was 3 weeks. I made a last-minute change to the size of one gate and it was not a problem. The crew (3 men) showed up early and I walked through the plan to confirm with the lead person. Then they got right to work. They didn't have a problem when I came out to see how it was coming. I also asked them a few questions throughout the installation and they were very nice and provided good answers. They cleaned up after themselves and didn't leave a mess. I am very pleased with the result.

 + -1 moreI called Cook fence for an estimate. The estimator came to my house on schedule and he was very professional and courteous. He listened to my concerns and explained different options. He also mentioned about locating property pins..Within a few days, I received an estimate by mail. Cook's estimate was somewhat higher than another provider. So I did not go with Cook's fence for the installation.

 + -1 moreFor the millionth time, "You get what you pay for!" They were extremely organized, knew and asked all of the questions up front and did a great job. Every single person on the jobsite, about ten of them, was very well mannered and pleasant. The fence looks great and is everything we wanted. They cost more, but the quality of their people and product are really great. We have one side left that we might replace in a few years. We would not hesitate at all to call them.

 + -1 moreContacted them and scheduled a visit to plan the job. Had a drawing to agree on within a week of the visit with a fair price. Scheduling was 1 month after the agreement and the 30% downpayment. They called ahead the day before and then I did a walkthrough with the crew in the morning to talk about all the details and options. Very pleasant and professional crew. Finished the work in one day and left me a small pile of branches in the yard. They spread the dirt from the digging around inconspicuously. Looks great and functions as expected. Came back to close a 6" gap a few days later and I was informed ahead that they would have to charge a little for that adjustment. Not a big deal. We plan to use them to enclose another space very soon. Highly recommended. Billing was easy -- used a credit card.

Description of Work: My husband and I had a great experience with Cook Fencing Company. They got me an estimate in a very timely manner and were verry accomadating from beginning to end. They arrived on time and cleaned up everything very nicely when the fence was completed (we had a black chain link fence installed). Would highly recommend them. (They were also $1100 cheaper from the other two bids we received)

 + -1 moreWorking with Cook to have my fence installed was a great experience from start to finish. When I called for an estimate, they gave me one immediately, and they worked with me back and forth several times to revise the estimate and the work to be performed so it would fit into my budget. Before the installation began, they handled all of the permit requirements and scheduled the utility companies to come inspect the area for potential hazards (low-hanging power lines, underground gas lines, etc.), so I didn't have to do any of that. I personally worked with Chuck, and he was friendly, responsive, and did a great job accommodating how I needed the fence installed. They also installed the fence much sooner than I thought they would be able to, and they completed the project in only two days during cold weather and with a hard ground.
Description of Work: I had my old, short, chain link fence removed and a privacy fence installed to enclose my entire backyard, starting from the back end of my house and going down to my garage that sits on the alley. One of my dogs is small and easily escapes underneath fences, so I requested that the fence needed to be installed right up against the ground to prevent her from escaping. In the past, I've had a problem getting other companies to do this, as they tend to install 6' wide panels of boards at a time, which can leave gaps on a sloping yard. However, Cook installed each board individually and placed every one right up against the ground as I requested. They even adapted how the gates were installed to make sure they were close enough to the ground to prevent my dog from going underneath of them. Additionally, I had to make sure the new fence would butt up against my neighbors' fences, which had previously been attached to my chain link fence. Cook made sure there were no gaps between my neighbors' fences and my new fence so that my new fence and the removal of the old one didn't negatively affect my neighbors' yards. The end result looks fantastic, and I will call on them again once I am ready to remove the remaining chain link fence in my front yard.

 + -1 moreI requested a quote online for installation of the fence at a house we were buying. Initial response to my request for a quote was a little slow, but that was the last thing Cook's did slowly. They showed up 15 minutes early on the day of installation, and were gone in a little over 4 hours. They did an incredible job, and very quickly, all while working around the moving company that was delivering our household goods, and the cable company installing our Internet service. They cleaned up everything, and the only way you could even tell they had been here was the nice new fence in the backyard.

 + -1 moreThe owner of the company came to do the initial visit, measurement, and specifications for the estimate, which made me feel good about the company. The estimate arrived in just a few days. We were in a hurry to get our fence installed in our new house because we have dogs and kids that need to be contained. They said they could have the job done within 2 weeks (which the totally fulfilled as promised). The day the fence went up the workers arrived around 8AM and worked diligently until the job was completed. They took all the dirt they excavated for posts with them (they offered to leave it if I wanted it, but I didn't) and left no garbage or debris for us to have to clean up after them. Workers were very professional and courteous. We love our fence and the workmanship has stood up without any issues so far.
