Michael Contracting Services

Description of Work: I had called several handymen services listed on the BBB to repair or replace a shed, small amount of painting around my carport and repair some bricks that had come loose on my porch. I called Michael Contracting Service and explained to him that this is a rental home and I live about a 1000 miles away from this home. He was VERY prompt at going over to the home and giving me an estimate. He estimated to tear down an old wood shed, dispose of it and replace with a 6ft x 8ft resin shed (New shed included in price) for 650.00. He estimated painting of my carport for 80.00 again with supplies included in price. Last was the bricks in my porch that had come loose, Michael kept in close contact over the phone with me and finally came up with a reasonable price solution of stuccoing it about the same color of my brick home, since my porch is mostly covered by bushes anyway with an estimate of 600.00 again including supplies. When I got the estimate I had to call to clarify that the supplies were included because the price seemed to good to be true. About 1 -2 weeks later I finally got some estimates from other handymen services and they were estimating double of what Michael Contracting Services gave for an estimate and did not communicate with me like Michael Contracting Service did about what I really wanted. I scheduled with him and he was out within 2 weeks, with no money down to start the service. When Michael Contracting Service completed the job I asked my friend to go check out the job and he stated it looked great. My tenants sent me a text stating "He did a great job- you should pay him double." That's a great piece of mind with me living so far away and trusting someone to do the "right" thing with only communicating over the phone. I will definitely be using Michael Contracting Service for any handymen needs that I may need done on my home without any doubt.
