He wanted 50% upfront, just to start. Had told him from the beginning that I was working with Neighborhood Finance Corp. He had told me he had worked with them before. Turns out it was to install a door, but I didn't find that out till AFTER the loan closed! He refused to do anything without the 50% upfront and whined about having to protect his family. It's 100% guaranteed he'd be paid by Neighborhood Finance Corp, but he didn't want to do things their way! Now I'm stuck with a loan, and no one to do the job! What an *******!

Very quick, good communication, got out to look at our situation and got a reasonable estimate to me quickly. Worked with us on some things that weren't in initial scope, and even came out and separately hauled away some brush I'd hoped to get into the dumpsters. The garage itself wound up taking 2 full dumpsters and the brush, hadn't fit, he came out w/ a pickup and took it.
